apemax Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 This is the AP49 Star Cruiser. It's a civilian ship. again i tried my best with the colours so i hope you all like it. It uses 4 main engines plus 2 smaller booster engines. it also has a deck gun for defence purposes. more pictures on the brickshelf folder here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=455343 and here it is with my other space ships from this thread: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=49594 Quote
RoryoCox Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Overall, it's not bad but I don't like the multi-colours or the blockyness. A few changes by making the hull smoother and reducing the colours will make a lot of difference. A good effort though. Thanks for sharing Quote
nicoga3000 Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 I appreciate what you've done - if you could get your hands on a less explosive color set, I think it would really add to the ship. And if you could smooth out some of the transitions with slope bricks, it would take it that extra step. I dig it though - nice work! Quote
krystalKING Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 I really like what you have done with a limited amount of brick's in any one color! The whole thing looks amazing!A small question though,Doe's it have a interior? And if so, could you post some pictures of it? Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 The overall shape is ok, the use of basic bricks for the body would have passed for a classic space ship build, but the multi-color scheme just doesn't do it for me. But quite a nice effort and I'm sure you'll have lots of room for improvement on this one when you have additional parts and pieces. Quote

Mrlegoninja Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Although I don't like the color scheme, I like the design. I would love to see this in the same color. Nice design. Quote
Big Cam Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 This reminds me of the sets you see in the back of the LEGO magazines. Nice work. Quote
apemax Posted December 22, 2010 Author Posted December 22, 2010 yeah it would be nice to be able to make a better colour scheme. oh well... maybe one day. thanks for your comments. Quote
