Nice, but are they your design? Just this morning I was looking at ambulances on flickr. I have a thing for emergency vehicles myself. I found these two.

They look rather similar to your LDD models, don't you think? AFAIK, 'tehLEGOman' on flickr is known as AccurateIn on EB...

Nice designs there 'BrickWild', have you tried paramedic trucks yet.....like my favorite Squad 51 from the 70's tv series Emergency.

In any case great LDD job there and keep on digital designing ! :sweet:

Quick edit - why do those LDD's look like the ones 'Ralph_S' just shown us ?

'BrickWild' ? :sceptic:

Those are indeed nice LDD ambulance designs. But I hope you'll clarify the issue posed by Ralph_S. I know you've done LDD MOCs before that you based on other builder's MOCs and you gave the proper credit/reference/acknowledgment where you got the inspiration. I would assume you just forgot this time around?

Brickwild. Copying another builders work without due credit is not looked upon with keen eyes in the AFOL community. Giving due credit is about normal common sense. If you make a copy, you must make sure that you write who's the original designer.

Those are some pretty nice ambulances you've got there! haha.

I'm impressed that you were able to build them so well in LDD by looking at those photos.

I've never put details in the interior. Perhaps you could do something inside the ambulance to make it complete.

Hey! Those are ACCURATEin's ambulances!

Yeah, that has been said already. Several times... :sceptic:

Rather than having lots of people metaphorically punching Brickwild over and over, let us await his response, okay? :classic:

I've replaced your images with links since you did not resize them as requested. Please assure that you abide by EB site guidelines before posting in the future. Images posted larger than 800x600 will simply by removed next time.

Since I don't know much about LEGO digital designs, what does it mean that you used a "LU pallate"? Is this something that ACCURATEin created?

"LU pallate" means it was done using the Lego universe pallate, which has all the lego pieces. It is possible to create real sets with the Lego Universe palatte, since all the pieces are there.

Thanks for explaining, but that doesn't really answer the question to BrickWild regarding the source of his creation.

I'd like to have him answer the question at hand as a few are asking if this was someone else's creation.

Okay, so both ambulances have doors at the back. But the question still hasn't been answered, and I'm very curious myself.

It has of sorts. BrickWild has apparently edited the first post and added 'Respect to tehLEGOman (aka AccurateIn)!' to it. That wasn't there when I saw the pictures yesterday. I can't help but feel that if nobody would have made remarks about the similarities to the existing design by AccurateIn, that sentence wouldn't have been there now either!

Brickwild,

I don't think there are many people who would mind somebody else creating a copy of one of their MOCs in LDD, but I do feel that not attributing the original creator is big no-no and not bothering to answer questions about it other than by adding a sentence to the post after the fact is not cool. I think it's not the first time you've done this either.
