Cinderbike Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Perhaps there will be other Disneyland Railroad enthusiasts on here, but just in case, here is a reference picture: http://davelandweb.com/dlrr/images/mainstreet/1960s/K2TPBKYC_8_62_N17B.jpg Now on to the LEGO-ized version I built: Part of the roof is removable. Look at the happy passengers! (The seats are also removable but I didn't take a picture. 3 seats sit on a 2x8 plate and are held in by a single stud.) And here our happy Conductor is checking everyone's baggage: This is just the beginning, as I plan on making a full set (steam engine, tender, and caboose) to go along with these, so stay tuned! PS: Happy holidays! Quote
AussieJimbo Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Nice job, CB. Goes well with the TS3 loco and makes for a bright and cheerful Xmas train. :classic: Quote
Cinderbike Posted December 20, 2010 Author Posted December 20, 2010 Yeah. I plan on converting the TS3 set into something with more realistic proportions as the next project, but am waiting on some BL parts first. Quote
Mrlegoninja Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Your MOC really resembles the disney version. Great work. And those gifts under the tree are Lego, right? Quote
Brickstarrunner Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Ok, I got 3 things to say; 1. I like it. Its something everyone could make, yet its so different 2. You are not the only Disneyland R.R. enthusiast out there ;) 3. When I think of a "Combine Car", I think of those shiny, sleek, menacing trains found in the PC game Half Life 2 More Info on the Combine Car I am talking about Quote
buddy Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Good MOC, it is realistic! It looks good with the TS3 set under the Christmas tree. Well done. ~buddy~ Quote
