Sirens-of-Titan Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 (edited) My first posted MOC; http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/241322 For those of you who like a story; "Count Vlad of the Kingdom of Cis'Sylvania travels the countryside to recruit the recently deceased for his army of the undead, in this case a local cemetery is the perfect site for black magic, and soon the zombies emerge from the earth and join the ranks of his forces." The coach contains a casket (of course) and the zombies are armed with improvised weapons and shields for the most part. The style is a bit Warhammer-inspired, but the ideas are mostly mine. (This is supposed to resemble a war-game, so all figures, and scenery have a collectible mini-figures display base) I know it's mostly mini-figures, but the coach took a good 10 hours to build, let me know what you think. Ingrimm Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Impressive army of minions! The carriage with the casket and the flagbearer are awesome. I like the high level of detail you put into this work! "Warhammeresque" hits the nail on the head. Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Advice from Orc-army builder- Use diferent head for skellies to make more variety. May I suggest some Fantasy era skeletons heads? "All gold skeleton" looks so epic! Quote
I Scream Clone Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 A really nice collection for an undead horde. I added a deeplink to your post too. Check out our Tutorial index on how to deeplink pictures into your posts as well. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Very neat MOC Sirens-Of-Titan! Aside from your skeleton army, it is worth noting your custom-built carriage. Nice work on this one! Quote
ziljin Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Warhammeresque indeed. nice use of the mummy pieces. I definitely need to get some mummy minifigs from PQ to supplement my skeleton army. Quote
Sirens-of-Titan Posted December 14, 2010 Author Posted December 14, 2010 Thank you for the comments guy, and thank you I Scream Clone for deep-linking the picture, I used conventional skeleton heads because the castle ones seem a bit cartoony and I wanted to portray these as actual long-dead skeleton warriors. I wonder whether or not I should build a whole diorama based around a similar concept, but it's not too festive so I probably should leave it for after the holidays Quote
