I entered (or I should say my son) the Win Your Wish List contest last month in the US.

Deadline was Dec. 10th and I heard they'd announce the winners (I believe one per store?) Dec. 20th via email (?).

Most notable we put on the list was UCS Imperial Shuttle, HP Castle, Imperial Flagship,etc...crossin' fingers and toes to see if we win. Doubt it of course but worth a shot.

I entered as well. It was kind of awkward filling out the form, though. There wasn't an age limit but the wording of the form implied that a parent was filling it out for a child.

I thought it was worth a shot. Were I to win, my current collection would be dwarfed by what I put on the list.

I entered this contest too, just on the off chance of winning it. The most notable sets I put on the list were probably the Green Grocer, Grand Emporium and the Fire Brigade.

Both of my kids entered, but I can't recall what they added to their lists. My daughter added the Farm, a Creator House, the Passenger Train and various small sets. My son added a mixture of Star Wars, Space Police, City, Kingdoms. I had to suggest some small sets because his wish list of course was tending toward the large expensive sets.

I entered. I think the top of my list was 10188, 10212, the Dropship and AT-OT, the Tantive IV, and the AT-AT. Unfortunately, I read the small print and there's a limit of $1,000, so I had to do little sets after that.

The rest of the sets were Star Wars, too.

My maximum was about €890, and hopefully I'll win... but I doubt so.

That's the same way I went, and I'd bet lots of other people did the same. My wish list started with the $399.99 Death Star and went down to $4.99 baseplates.

(Hrm - looking at Shop at Home just now to confirm the set numbers and prices, I notice Community Workers is listed as Sold Out. I wonder whether it's one of their "temporary" sell-outs, or whether this really is the end of the set. I'd suspected for a while that it would be coming, what with the "classic smiley" head having been dropped from Pick-A-Brick, but we'll see...)

They'd better, 'cause the only way I could keep my list under $1,000 was by writing down a Collectible Minifgi at $1.99.

How do you find out who the winner is? I'm sure they said you would find out on or before the 20th December. I've not recieved an e-mail saying if I've won or lost yet...keeping my fingers crossed though!

Oh, I knew about that; my comment was more a tangent along the lines of "OMG, Community Workers is sold out now??"

Does anybody know if they send out emails to everyone who participated?

I participated, and we were supposed to get an email yesterday, but I didn't get any.

I'm afraid I have lost, but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed. Does anyone know more about this?

I'm fairly certain they wouldn't email everyone who entered, only the winners. As I recall, you could request a list of winners, but I'd have to re-read the rules to figure out how to do that.

By completing the entry, Entrant (or parent or guardian) consents to receive a follow-up message from the LEGO Group via e-mail.

Winners will be notified by email to the indicated email address.

Here is how you can get the list:

So you dont want to pay $2-$3 for $1000 worth of prizes? You guys should be lucky you can enter. A lot of us cant.

No, we have to pay that just to get a list of the winners.

If that was the price to enter, I wouldn't give it a second thought.

I wouldn't be too worried about not getting an email yesterday. the rules stated that the EARLIEST they would inform us would be the 21st, but this is lego, who isn't known for being so predictable, so we could get results hours or days from now.
