Hi there, this is my first MOC on Eurobricks.

I while back I made a base for a UT-AT, it's been sitting on my shelf for a while and recently I decided to finish it. It took about a week to build, so enjoy!

Here it is in action on Mygeeto.

Thanks for looking. Whenever I post do not have ANY second thoughts about criticizing my MOCs, it won't help me for you to say thats its good, tell me what you don't like so i can improve!

Looks pretty good! The color scheme and general shape are there, which is a great starting point. The vehicle does look a little to fat and/or short, though. The armor is a little bit gappy, but it would fit in well with TLG's walkers. I look forward to seeing where you go with this!

Pretty nice for a start, but there are some things you should fix here and there.

For example, you could fill up the gaps and holes, and make the armor a bit thicker. It looks a little fragile.

But other than those things, great job. :classic:

Great start! I would suggest that you make it a bit longer, put some legs on it. Then it'll look better!

It's an UT-AT, they don't have legs. They used a repulsorlift ski system:

Thanks for commenting, I agree the armor is a bit gappy. In my second version i'll make it longer and fix the armor. As for stability, it actually holds pretty good, the base has two 1-16 bricks running down the plates, which keeps from bending, and breaking. Also the whole thing is modular, keeping it together, yet open-able. Thanks for your insights guys!

That looks really good for your first MOC, and quite unique too since this is the first time I've seen one. A couple of criticisms though, I feel it's a bit small to what it should be in brickform, UT-ATs are 23 meters long compared to the 13-meter long AT-TE, so based on this scale, a Lego UT-AT should be significantly larger than the Lego AT-TE. And I think your should also put the repulsorlift legs beneath the UT-AT. But still, that is already a good start and you could always improve it with the right parts and pieces. Good job and keep it up!

Thanks Kieldaman, I agree it's small, I think I'll use this one in my mygeeeto,(coming by February). What the biggest challenge was, was reference pics. I built the whole thing off 4 pics. My goal is for my next version to have twice the size of this one. I think for my next one I'll use characteristics from the AT-TE because its well documented.

Thanks for your comments everyone!

EDIT-Progress: Second version is almost done, almost doubled in size, and interior detail. Little to no armor gaps as well. :classic:

Nice job brickartist!

I agree with angel06, if you could make the bottom with the treads(?) on it, it would improve it alot.

Also, the interior could do with some work, alittle tidy up.

Nice job though!

They're repulsor skis mounted on feet. (or really short legs, depending on how you look at it)

This is a great build brickartist however I would use a different clone for the pilot (if you have one) Those pilots are only used to pilot space vessels.

Well Done :thumbup::thumbup:

I think everyone else has touched on the issues with this UT-AT. What you have is a very good start. With some improvements I think it could be excellent.

I look forward to updated photos.

Thanks everyone for commenting! I read over these, and I think version 2 which is about done, covers most of this stuff.

Sounds good! This is already a good model, so I look forward to seeing your improvements.

I reworked the whole thing, it's (literally) twice this size.

So far- Med center, armory, tandem cockpit seating two pilots, and a war room are done. Still plenty of space too. Not very recognizable to this one :classic: .

Just make sure you keep one photo of the old version for comparisons sake. I can't wait to see the improvements.

That looks really nice! I wouldn't change a thing! But if you were looking for suggestions some areas look a little blocky, maybe use a little more detailing. Love this though!
