LDD MOC: Overhead Traffic Light

Here is another LDD design which found collecting dust in my folders and which I made quite awhile back.

I was going to build this and add it to my lego city, But I kept forgetting about it but hopefully one day I could make it and use it.

I'll have a few more LDD MOC's to post including a Atlantis volcano base which opens out

Excellent piece of MODing there (my own designing, that is), but might I suggest switching the round 1x1 trans green and reds to 1x1 trans green and red tiles for the crosswalk go/stop lights....might look even better.

Thanks Lightningtiger, I'm still confused about which is which MOC or MOD there has been so much talk about it , But anyway thanks for that suggestion.

Yeah, it can be little confusing, but 'The Brickster' has writen a piece at the top of our forum page so we can't it wrong.

I forgot to ask.....going to brick build these are you ?

This looks nice. I've been looking for a good solution for traffic lights, and this is pretty good, although a bit thick.

Interesting LDD design The Red Brick, this is exactly what an overhead traffic light should be built. I'm lookin' forward how this will fit in in an actual city/town layout.

Nice little detailed creation that is definitely useful in every LEGO town/city! I'd have used light grey instead of black. But that's just a matter of tase.

I was going to use grey, but I thought the black would make the yellow stand out more.

Its a good design, but I doubt it would work in real bricks as the top horizontal arm would sag from the weight. Perhaps some flex tube curved from the vertical to the horizontal would have the necessary bracing.
