Cloud Strife Hair

Pay no attention to the minifig, it isn't important for this. What is important though, is the hair. Lately I been practicing my skills with melding two pieces together and what not, and decided to attempt Cloud Strife's hair by using BrickTW's hair pieces. After cutting and sanding, I glued them together and sprayed them yellow. And this is the result. Not bad I think. :P

Used this minifig to model the hair.

Great job on this melded hairpiece Omi! The end product is seamlessly done as there are no visible traces that it came from two pieces. I also have plans experimenting on melding two different headgear pieces together for a future custom, I hope I achieve something as flawless as yours.

PS: I can't help but notice, is that sword a custom Lego piece? Looks really good.

I'm just an amateur still in this department, but thanks! I learn from the best. :)

As for the sword, it is BrickTW and chromed by them as well. Would have used my Buster Sword, but figured to use this sword for the photo.

I really like how you modded the hair (very creative!), but it looks like he has a bump on his head. Maybe sculpey the spikey hair?
