Sariel Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 No its just your big fingers. Funny as always, except they're editor's fingers. Quote
Dannnohhh Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 In case you were afraid it would be a thin book... That makes the wait even tougher! Pre-ordered mine last week. (And I'll stop whining...it's so close that it practically arrived already, as we've been wanting it since you started the thread! ) Quote
Sariel Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Here's the very first review, courtesy of BotBench: http://botbench.com/blog/2012/10/07/review-the-unofficial-lego-technic-builders-guide/ I guess "you’d be crazy not to get it" means the book is fine :) Quote
D3K Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Congratulations on the exceptionally positive feedback! I for one can't wait till it arrives for the rest of us to enjoy! Quote
DLuders Posted November 19, 2012 Author Posted November 19, 2012 On this No Starch Press webpage, there are two updates to The Unofficial LEGO Technic Builders Guide: "Page 65: The sentence "The mechanical advantage of the power pulley system is equal to 2n" should read "The mechanical advantage of the power pulley system is equal to 2 to the power of n (2n)." Page 117: The gear ratios in Figure 10-7 are listed in opposite order: they should start with 1:2 at the top and end with 2:1 at the bottom." Quote
