Lord Embo Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Since we have recieved wonderful pictures of series 4, I have been thinking up potential minifigs for series 5 of the collection(regarding that we do get one, of course), so here is a topic for it. Here suggestions for future minifigs can be listed. Each time a new idea is posted, it will be added to this post. It would also be convenient if you could describe what hair and accesories your minifigure comes with and provide a link to reference pictures too. Anyways, here are my own starter ideas: Hunter with hunter's hat and a sniper rifle(male). Surgeon with surgeon's hat, syringe and large briefcase with medical items printing(male). Cricket Player with cricket hat(with thing on it) and a cricket bat(male). Santa Claus with Santa hat and a sack(male). Bride with veil and a bouquet of flowers(female). Ballerina with blond ponytail, pink skirt and shoes thatclip on like the skates on the S4 Ice Hockey Player and Speed Skater(female). Boxer with brown hair and boxing gloves that clip onto the hands like the S1 Cheerleader pom-poms(male). College Student with diploma hat, black cape and diploma scroll(male). Roman Emperor with new brown hair with holes for laurel wreath(which is included) and a bunch of grapes(male). Buckingham Palace Guard with hat and gun seen in picture(male). Football(or soccer in America and some other places) Referee with new black hair, red card and yellow card(male). Snake Charmer with red printed turban, snake basket, snake and snake charmer's flute(male). Hippie with new long brown hair and an acoustic guitar(male). Zookeeper with long blond Ginny Weasley hair and parrot(female). Bishop with Bible, bishop hat and bishop staff(male). Weather Reporter with long brown Ginny Weasley hair and pole to point at map locations(female). Hope to see some ideas come up to inspire TLG for Series 5 of the Collectible Minifigures! Lord Embo

Lord Embo Actually, after replying to your post, I went back and started reading through that thread for fun, and let me say, it is staggering how many of our ideas have actually showed up in series 2, 3 and now 4. Surely there's plenty of room for coincidence, but just off the top of my head the Musketeer, the Geisha, obviously all of the sports figs, and countless others have been mentioned on that list. I personally would like to take 'ownership' of the mad scientist fig in Series 4 (obviously I don't actually think I'm responsible for the fig's inclusion, just having some fun with it of course). Might be fun to make a list sometime pointing out which EB member has suggested it on CopMike's list. I'm sure names like Dunjohn and Klaus-Dieter will show up more than once.
rakky Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Seeing as though that other thread is quite old now and a lot of the figures have croped up i don't see why making a new thread about series 5 could be a bad idea. That way we can concentrate on whats not already happened and people don't have to look over pages and pages of posts either. I don't mind either way though.
