The only thing that I do not like about this set is that the light does not stay on unless you hold it! Does anyone know how to convert this into a switch so that you can turn it on and off when you like?

either rewire the switch......or buy power functions...... also check out LED kits at hobby stores(non lego, but after a bit of work, your will pull it off)

just put some tape over the button and it will stay one. If you make the tape longer than the brick you can just switch it off by pulling the tape away from the button.

You could also make a brick-built frame that keeps the button pressed in.

These are great ideas... too bad he has not logged back on yet to see that the forum has already slammed him with about 5 options already.... I hope he posts a MOD to the toy shop as well... Stock is like passé
