exon_from_youtube Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 series 4 mini figgs have side play legs it seems.... I know this looks like it is a computer aided pic, but it would be cool if that is the case and the legs will have more side play for better lay out for action scenes
WhiteFang Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I know this looks like it is a computer aided pic, but it would be cool if that is the case and the legs will have more side play for better lay out for action scenes Actually, this design above is drawn by a computer program. It is meant for illustration purposes and not for playing purposes.
XimenaPaulina Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 (edited) Yup, that's just computer graphics for better presentation of the collectible minifigs. But now that you've mentioned it, it would actually be cool if somehow real minifigs can be posed that way. Though I know it's highly unlikely TLG will change the classic design of the minifigure, but hey, we can always hope for the best right? Edited December 7, 2010 by KielDaMan
Scouty Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Perhaps if they researched a rubber that could hold its shape, yet be flexible It's CG, no doubt I'll take the restricted ABS plastic over flexibility any day.
fred67 Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 I'll take the restricted ABS plastic over flexibility any day. Could just make a ball joint, but if we're prioritizing, bendable "kid" legs (short legs that bend at the hip) would be higher on my list.
vexorian Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Whatever the change, if it changes the visual look of the legs piece I would have to start a holy war against the change. I wouldn't oppose to an articulation upgrade if they managed to make the legs look the same, but otherwise...
LuxorV Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 As this started from nowhere and is going nowhere, I'll close the topic.
