Jameson42 Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Hi everyone! I wanted to show off my most recent creation, a snow globe. The snow globe is freestanding, or can hang from a tree as an ornament. The base is attached using LEGO ribbon. Quote
MightySlickPancake Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Great work . Very festive . Thanks, CB Quote

XimenaPaulina Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Are those trans-pieces Lego parts? (I assume not). But I agree this is really a nice idea, just perfect for the holiday season. Quote
Jameson42 Posted December 4, 2010 Author Posted December 4, 2010 Wow, looks great! Is there water in it too, or just air? No water, just air. Are those trans-pieces Lego parts? (I assume not). But I agree this is really a nice idea, just perfect for the holiday season. The entire thing is real LEGO. The base is from the Xpod series, the main round part is one of the LEGO Holiday ornament globes, and the ribbon is also from the holiday ornament set. Quote
lightningtiger Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Now that's C & C - Cute & Cool ! Excellent piece of Christmas decoration you have there 'Jameson42' ! Keep on with that Christmas feeling - Ho, Ho, Ho ! Quote
BillytheKid Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 What a great idea. Which part you used for the ball itself? Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 The entire thing is real LEGO. The base is from the Xpod series, the main round part is one of the LEGO Holiday ornament globes, and the ribbon is also from the holiday ornament set. Then you did a truly impressive job utilizing strictly "official" TLG parts/elements for this MOC. Quote
Rick Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Simple, yet elegant. The base is attached using LEGO ribbon. Purist. Quote
