Solscud007 Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Im looking to buy tracks for my TS3 train. Is 7896 enough? It lists 8 straight and 8 curved pieces. However 7938 is just a circle and it has 16 curved pieces. So does that mean I need 2x sets of 7896 just to make a complete loop? Should I just buy 8867 flexible track? Is that enough to make a loop? Thanks Quote
MightySlickPancake Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 If you choose 7896 the yes you need two, But if you get flexi track I think you may also need two (not sure as I dont own any fexi track). Either way I recomend 7896 as you get straight and curved pieces. Hope I helped. Thanks, CB Quote
soc399 Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 The flex track pack makes a small loop, but I recommend getting 2x of 7896. You can make a nice, smooth oval with them. The flex track makes the train bump and rattle a lot, so it is best used sparingly in combination with normal track to "cheat" the geometry. A pack with some straights and a smaller number of flex pieces is coming out next year, and it will be better than 8867. I never need all 64 pieces of flex track that I have. Quote
