Leo-J Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 The Onyx Iormungand is wingless star fighter prototype. It's designed for battle campaign superiority during deep strike, all-out attacks. It's primary weaponry consists of two 2nd generation GigaFist™ Ion Blasters. Wrapped around each blaster is a Gatling Pulse Laser. While these lasers do not spin like the original Gatling gun, they shoot intense photonic pulses one at a time in a rapid, circular manner. A couple of mini position cannons are attached underneath just for kicks. It relies on overpowered engines to keep it afloat. The two Solar-Ion thrusters puts unbelievable thrust capable of moving battleships. Sixty nine A.I.'s compute concurrently to keep the tremendous power under control. Because the ship is heavily guided by A.I's, it only requires one crew. The maiden flight was was piloted by Space Commander Rod Biggerstaff. More pictures available in MOCpages. Quote
TheWarden Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 (edited) Incredible texture on this! I just want to run my fingers over it. Ahem. Yes, you managed studs, knobs, bars, ridges here very well. The... hmm, the multiple "1x4 plate with tire joints" in the front is novel. No criticism really, though some color variation or trans parts might be interesting. EDIT: Also thanks for the comment on my PT VV at Mocpages! Edited December 2, 2010 by TheWarden Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Another quality creation from you Leo-J! You're really up there with Legostein in terms of mini-MOC expertise. The classic all-black color scheme and those two front weapons are really intimidating to opposing ships. The greebling details are great as always. Quote
brickmack Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 Very nice. The whole thing is pretty much a big pile of greebles really. The placement of the cockipt in the center instead of on top is interesting also, I don't see that very often. Quote
