Since 2010 is drawing to a close and all the 2010 sets have been released what is the set that has caught your eye?

Is it the huge tower bridge tan cheese parts pack or the magnificent imperial shuttle. It could even be an impulse. What was the set that you knew you had to immediately buy?

In my opinion it was the magnificent imperial shuttle.

8043 Motorized Excavator

Impressive Technic.

8072: Atlantis Sea Jet

Atlantis with "my" new helmet :classic:

10214: Tower Bridge

Because Jamie made it (lol).

7573: Battle of Alamut

New colours, cool minifigures.

8683: LEGO Minifigures Series 1 {Random bag}

Simply because of the hype.

My final choise is the Atlantis set

The Burrows. I haven't bought it because I'm hoping I've dropped enough hints that I'll be getting it for Christmas. If the hints were not enough, or my wife chooses not to indulge my "children's toy fantasy", I have the money set aside for it.

New colours, new pieces, new architecture, cool minifigures...

It is so underrated...

That would have to be the 10210 Imperial Flagship, and the 10212 Imperial Shuttle! You could say I am some kind of an Imperialist :)

Seriously though, those sets are awesomeness combined with quadruple awesomeness! Yes awesomeness... no, not... no!! not madness! You persians are mean :(

The Burrow from the Harry Potter theme was my top favorite, even though all the other sets in the theme were great and very welcomed as well. The Prince of Persia theme was my second favorite with the Battle of Alamut as it's crown jewel. Both of these themes offered a massive amount of superb minifigs, fantastic buildings and new parts. Even though they're not technically speaking sets, I have to mention the two released series of Collectable Minifigures as well, because they really brought a whole new element to this hobby of ours.

I have to say I was a bit disappointed with Kingdoms, because even though it offers a large variety of excellent minifigures, the sets themselves were nothing new, or even worse than their earlier counterparts.

Wow this is a tough question.

I have alot of favourites but I think my best set is .....

I absolutely love this set default_blush.gif.

if the shuttle was like the shuttle back in the early 1990's with the launch pad and every thing I would be more stoked about it

It's a tough decision, but I think I'll have to go for 7593 Buzz's Star Command Spaceship. Being a huge fan of the Toy Story trilogy and its spin-off cartoon Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, this set was an absolute must-have for me ever since I heard the first rumors about it! It's a fun, swooshable, and retro-looking spaceship with two great minifigs and a cute rover!

However, the Pizza Planet Truck and Garbage Truck, as well as the new Hogwarts are great, must-buy sets as well!

The Imperial Shuttle's my fav, but I haven't gotten it yet. As for sets I have, I'd have to go with the Midi-scale Imperial Star Destroyer. Great parts pack that I have yet to part out, that's how good it looks.

I have exactly the same feeling about my Midi SD! I keep looking at it and thinking damn, I could do so much with those pieces, but it looks way too good to take apart.
