Masked Builder Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 So here's my second try at a VV. I also wanted to try using some of my Collectible Minifigure parts on a MOC. It turns out that the Ski poles work quite nicely for guns. I'm not sure about the double fins on the back though. Look out for my next one that will be larger. Remember I'm always looking for feedback! Quote
Legostein Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 Hello! This could be an interesting micro design, but it's hard to see anything, because of a white ship in front of a white background. I'd recommend a light grey background. By the way, please excuse my ignorance, but allow me one question: There are sveral new of these "Vic Viper" creations every week. They look all different. What is a Vic Viper? Where is their origin? It could be nice if someone would shed some light on this. Thank you. Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote

They look all different. What is a Vic Viper? Where is their origin? It could be nice if someone would shed some light on this. Thank you. It's fine. I had no idea what they were till a few weeks ago. Nnenn invented them one day. (at least that's what I think) There's a Flickr group, and this picture shows what VV need to have on them. Quote
Oky Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 Yeah, those fins look much too thick, and according to that definition chart, it's supposed to be a single tail anyway. Otherwise, this looks great, even though it's kinda hard to see. Quote

XimenaPaulina Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Nice VV once again Masked! You did well getting the overall shape right, the slight inaccuracies are just ok, considering the build is on mini-scale. I know it's pretty hard to see the white color against the white background (I usually use a black background on those cases). Quote
Daedalus304 Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 I love the ship! It's very compact and sleek. The cockpit is much bigger than most Vipers but I think you've pulled it off quite nicely! By the way, please excuse my ignorance, but allow me one question: There are sveral new of these "Vic Viper" creations every week. They look all different. What is a Vic Viper? Where is their origin? Each game has a new Vic Viper (Or several), and they are generally storied as humanities greatest ship, and last chance of survival in whatever attack the current game is highlighting. It's quite a difficult game. Quote
Legostein Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Hello again, and thank you for the clarifications. This sounds like an interesting project. Maybe some inspiration will appear on my mind to also participate with a ship featuring these specifications. Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
Baylego Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Nice! Those ski poles work excellently for guns Quote
