MOD: 6379 - Farm

very nice, incorporating new bricks for detail work on such an old set..... VERY nice

It came out great....put some new minifigs in it and no one would ever know it was as old as it is, that is how great it looks...

Great work vladoniki! It's nice to see your updated version of this classic farm set. Just curious though, does this MOC/MOD include elements/parts from the original 6379? Or did you just use new pieces to recreate 6379? Either way yo did a good job on this.

Thanks! The windows, doors, some of fances, some bricks and some of the roof bricks are from 6379. The wagon is also from 6379 Other parts are mixed from different sets and from Bricklink.

No, thank you....

when you post a normal mod for a normal set it is just wow..... but when you mod a set from way back in the day like 20+ years old.... well you can incorporate new details that did not exist back then.... Thats just plain balls and brilliant!

Take my 6373

I cant just put that next to the new modular houses.... but add about 500 more bricks and some creative time and it would fit in just nicely... ya know?

I just hope more people do what you did and mod the old with the new and truly discover the piece all over again..

I want more, so if you have the time, please dont stop with just the farm house

I will combine that with this....

6373 + 4996 = Greate Idea!

This is my second try to MOD an old set. My firtst try was a MOD of 6380. You can see it HERE.

I use two of the details from new sets - 4 wall system; devided floors with tile plates. I add a new type parts also.

on a side note what should we all call a merger of sets.....

MOC is to make a 100% new design

MOD is to redesign a set

So how about Merg or MGR as the abbreviation for that?
