NovaStar Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Hey all My partner and I are from South London and both recently rediscovered a mutual love of Lego. We are now in the process of starting our own Lego city in the loft that we're converting for that purpose (he's insulating between the rafters today!). He is very much into the construction, harbour, vehical and overall transportation side of things while I like to do the more decorative buildings and 'fillers'. We've both been lurking here a while now, but absolutely love browing everyone's creations and are looking forward to showing off our own when we get started properly (we've built up most sets as per instructions but are planning to re-buld to our own designs when the loft's complete and we can lay everything out properly). First posted creations will probably be each of our Winter Village entries... Keep an eye out for him - he's registered as Pinks on here (he has bright pink hair!) Quote

He's now finished insulating one side of the roof - the other should be finished by the end of the weekend, so we can get on with setting up the basic city layout without freezing our a***s off! It's going to be so awesome - I never even considered when buying the house, that we'd decide to convert the loft to a dedicated Lego room! They layout will be predominantly city, but we've got so many ideas to brick! Quote
