Hi all,

for the last exhibition I attended things got rushed and frantic building continued till the last days hours as usual... Resulting in a diorama with mostly standard, respectively little changed Prince of Persia and Indy Minifigs present in the MOC.

After have a small creative break with sorting all the mess I came up with more authentic looking Arab Minifigs!

Comments etc. welcome!

Nicely done freakwave! Simple yet very realistic customization. default_thumbup.gif Though if I remember correctly Arab women have more covered heads, so probably the jedi hood piece would have been a better alternative.

You are right, the scarf would be cover a bit more. It's a pity I cannot fit it on a hairpiece that would make the head not look so naked...But not all are fully covered, I spent quite a lot of time in those countries and you see also a lot of variety.

What came into my mind is using the Minifig Series 2 Vampire cape in some fashion to cover her head if it is folded in the opposite direction...

Nice job!

I've been thinking a bit myself about how to make good Arab people in LEGO and this is great. I had to try this technique myself right away but I added a rubber band too to make the head scarf tighter around the head.

I tried fiddling around with the Vampire cape but I couldn't make it work like I wanted and the nagged edge on it doesn't fit very well IMHO.

That's a good evolution! Thanks for that one!

I also went to the toystore during lunchbreak got the vampire (and 10 other collectibles :sceptic:) to try the thing with the cape, but it does not work out. It would be too short and the neckpiece can't be transformed in a way it would properly fit (without destroying it)
