Jameson42 Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 (edited) This is a modular LEGO house built to fit in with other Cafe Corner series buildings. I love how the constraints of CC force me to be creative in new and interesting ways. This whole model started as an idea for the entranceway pillars, which bloomed into what you see here. The house is modeled in Frank Lloyd Wright's Prairie Style. I'm happy to read your comments and constructive criticism! Update! I wasn't totally happy with the way the upper right corner looked before, so I've brought the side in a few studs and added a window. The whole second floor has been shortened by one brick. Also, I've added a chimney and some interior lights. Let me know what you think! Larger images are available on my Flickr. Edited November 21, 2010 by Jameson42 Quote

streifen Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Great house! That glass-panel on the balcony is . Can I borrow that idea? Thanks! Quote
Jameson42 Posted November 16, 2010 Author Posted November 16, 2010 Thank you for the comments, everyone! It seems everyone loves the glass balcony! I just wish I was the first person to put glass onto lever bases like that. I've only ever seen one person do it, in a sci-fi scene that was on Brothers Brick a few months back. I don't remember who it was. He used different glass, but the concept is the same. Can I borrow that idea? Thanks! Absolutely! Ideas are free. Take it and expand on it. Make it your own. Totally AWESOME 'Jameson42', I agree with everyone else so far - a really cool and clever glass balconade ! The overall build is perfect, no faults at all ! This is one of the finest modular builds I have seen in a long time ! Keep on MOCing ! Thank you! I always love reading your shining reviews. Puts a big smile on my face. Quote
