This is a modular LEGO house built to fit in with other Cafe Corner series buildings. I love how the constraints of CC force me to be creative in new and interesting ways. This whole model started as an idea for the entranceway pillars, which bloomed into what you see here. The house is modeled in Frank Lloyd Wright's Prairie Style.

I'm happy to read your comments and constructive criticism!

Update! I wasn't totally happy with the way the upper right corner looked before, so I've brought the side in a few studs and added a window. The whole second floor has been shortened by one brick. Also, I've added a chimney and some interior lights. Let me know what you think!

Nicely done! I like the way you did the second storey windows. The glass balcony is beautiful as well. Great idea there. :sweet:

I particularly like the glass balcony technique. I also like the overall look of it, it is very accurate and realistic.

Very well done. :classic:

Thank you for the comments, everyone! It seems everyone loves the glass balcony! I just wish I was the first person to put glass onto lever bases like that. I've only ever seen one person do it, in a sci-fi scene that was on Brothers Brick a few months back. I don't remember who it was. He used different glass, but the concept is the same.

Can I borrow that idea? Thanks!

Absolutely! Ideas are free.default_classic.gif Take it and expand on it. Make it your own.

I really like the overall smooth finish of this house, as I see you've made it a point to SNOT all of them. :classic: I love the unique glass panel viewing deck. The whole build is just serene and very relaxing to look at. Great job Jameson42!
