lightningtiger Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 The white one is very good, but the tan one is just AWESOME , how it fits with that corner shop - perfect......but I would put some safety fencing up top otherwise that poor lady might take a fall ! Great work and keep on MOCing ! Quote
The Yellow Brick Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 These are just amazing , such beautiful buildings. Great work Alibabo Quote
Rick Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Nice realistic looking buildings. I like how you've integrated two buildings on a standard corner modular layout. Quote
Alibabo Posted November 13, 2010 Author Posted November 13, 2010 " how it fits with that corner shop - perfect......but I would put some safety fencing up top otherwise that poor lady might take a fall ! " Hmmmm... True The biggest problem of my buildings is thet they havent got floors and and the shops arent realistic (there isnt anything inside ) So I need more lego (and money) to make them all. I should build a nice layout, but I have to wait with it yet. Thanks for gratulations Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Great job on these wonderful houses Alibabo! I simply love the architectural design you've put on both houses. The tan one looks really good, I love the scene above with a girl hanging cloths/clothes. Quote
buddy Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 (edited) Excellent MOCs, Alibabo! I particularly like the tan one, and they compliment each other well. They both look realistic and accurate. Very well done. ~buddy~ Edited November 13, 2010 by buddy Quote
MightySlickPancake Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Great work . I love the british building, its so recognisable. Great stuff , I love it all. Thanks, CB Quote
LegoSjaak Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 That tan house is a superb design...it is one of the best MOC houses i saw on eurobricks this year, and i will tell you why! This house is very realistic, the laundrey-line etc, those very simple things just make that building what it is! You have done a very good job, and you should MOC other houses as well, but try not to build too big...just make the building, like you did, with details and a sharp eye for reality!!! Thank you for publishing this picture....it pleases my eyes!!! Greetz, LegoSjaak Quote
F0NIX Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 The tan house is very nice and very realistic. It seems like some old buildings that has been refurbished a few times after it was first built in the 1800 or early 1900. And now latly it has been modernised and are used as a Sport shop. The large windows and the signs above the large windows makes it very modern. I also like the laundrey-line. Quote
mautara Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 I like your works and I hope you'll make your layout soon. I agree tat the tan one is very realistic. Quote
Night City Dream Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I liked both very much. I believe they are not worse than LEGO's official modular buildings. Quote
Jargo Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Kudos for the lovely buildings but the British building isn't really typical. Not unless you live in some quaint historic town full of wealthy people. The majority of British houses are the plain brick and red roof type. boring terraced boxes. pretty much like a typical lego basic house set. Quote
Big Cam Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I really like the tan house, the rooftop deck area is really nicely done. Quote
