apemax Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 (edited) This is a HotRod with power functions for steering and drive. it has working steering, working front and rear suspension, a working 2 speed gear box and a working folding roof. this is currently built at the moment. i tried my best with the colours. if there's any improvements to the design i can make just say. more picture's on the brickshelf page here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=451635 Edited November 15, 2010 by apemax Quote
DLuders Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 (edited) Interesting MOC. My eye keeps going to the Light Bluish Grey plates covering the top of the hood (bonnet). If you have some black plates, recommend using them there so that the lines of the black car body can "flow" continuously down the length of the car. I realize that you may not have enough parts, but there is something missing from the front quarters of the car (ahead of the front shock absorbers). Do you have any curved Lego Technic Panels to help transition from the Lego Slopes (on the nose) and the front wheels? Is your "AP8 Hotrod" modelled after any particular car on the [American] National Hod Rod Association (NHRA) circuit? Edited November 12, 2010 by DLuders Quote

I don't have any Technic Panels but i might be able to find something to put there. no it's not really model after any particular car. it's just from what i've seen of these sorts of cars. thanks for the comments. apemax Posted November 15, 2010 Author Posted November 15, 2010 I replaced the grey plates for some black ones and added a bit more to the front. so now what do you think? Quote
