Vincent Kessels Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Hi, My new android phone will be arriving today, so I am wondering if there any Lego related apps for android worth installing? Quote
Tobbe Arnesson Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 I use these two: GetPrice - Clever little utility that checks the price of a set number from S@H and BrickLink. Great to see if that reduced set in the local store is a bargain or not. Lego Mini Figure Identifier - What it says, takes a little while but... Shame it wont work on series 3, I would not have bothered with the first two if I had not been able to know what I was buying. Quote
Big Cam Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Getprice is the best, I love this app, the original thread is right here, and it's been refined to near perfection. I always use it when I see anything on sale. Scan this QR code with a barcode scanner app Quote
Vincent Kessels Posted November 10, 2010 Author Posted November 10, 2010 Thanks for the information. GetPrice looks very useful. I wish I had Lego Mini Figure Identifier much earlier, but like Hillel Cooperman said I will still buy them all multiple times. Quote
Tobbe Arnesson Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 I used the minifig-app today to find Spartans. Turned out it was much, much quicker to compare the last few lines of the barcode manually. Used the phone to verify in the end. Quote
RikTheVeggie Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 (edited) Sorry to bump an old thread, especially for shameless self-publicity, but I've written a free & ad-free app called myBrickset (app was initially written as an interface to brickset.com and the name stuck). Current version requires an account at brickset but this requirement will be lifted in the next version (due out very soon). Comes with a bunch of data & images for total offline browsing (faster & cheaper than paying for a data plan) and will auto-update with new data as it becomes available. Includes pretty much every LEGO set (including retired ones) from the 80's on, retail prices and links to official instructions. Latest version will also include barcode scanning for even faster price lookups when out shopping. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uk.co.otissoft.mybrickset Edited August 9, 2012 by RikTheVeggie Quote
Holodoc Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Thank you for sharing this info! It's always good to see more Android apps. Who cares about i-stuff anyway? Quote
