Ye Olde Pirate Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 (edited) Hello Everyone! Today I have for you a diorama based on Christopher Columbus' first arrival in the New World on the island of San Salvador on the 12th of October, 1492. Enjoy! Big Cam Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 I like this quite a bit, the photography angle really helps sell it. The cutom fig's fit the bill and the foliage is great. Quote

The Yellow Brick Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Really nice Vig , I think that it could abit more detail on the ocean. I love the minifigures they are just awesome. Quote
Ratshot Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 (edited) Great scene. I think you really hit home on the historical aspect of things, the sailors being happy, the crucifix etc. Thanks for sharing Edited November 7, 2010 by Ratshot Quote
Admiral Croissant Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 I'm proud to see 'my' head on Columbus' body You've made a nice vignette, and the crucifix is a nice detail indeed. Onfortunately the old man himself never knew he had discovered a new continent Good job. Quote
General Boadside Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Very Nice. But it could use a native or two. Quote

I'm proud to see 'my' head on Columbus' body You've made a nice vignette, and the crucifix is a nice detail indeed. Onfortunately the old man himself never knew he had discovered a new continent Good job. Well 'Admiral Croissant' you have such a very fine head I decided to use it. Well you can compliment yourself: you look like Christopher Columbus! Enough of the jokes: I thank you for the kind comments. Very Nice. But it could use a native or two. I agree, it could use a native, but I lost my native figs in the mess that is my Lego collection so this vig is native-less. God Bless. Quote
