If there is something that can effectively compete with my Lego time its Doctor Who. (Fortunately that's what the trip to work and the Ipod were designed for)

I've long wanted to merge the two, as have many others, and I cannot compete with the marvellous style of Doctor Sinister or Mark Stafford, so I've decided to go a different way. Most of my stuff ends up getting played with by an enthusiastic 7 year old, just getting into Who, so it was time to build a tardis.

I've built a number of physical prototypes, but have now designed the final plan version in LDD, but thought I'd post here and see what y'all think before I commit to Bricklink orders!

This is not based on any specific era - I'm non-commital to any specific Doctor, so I've kept the style generic.

Love to hear your thoughts.

Love to hear your thoughts.

It needs to be a bit bigger on the inside.

Seriously though, I like it. It captures the doors and the center console very well on this scale. Well done.

I love the idea of haing a tardis so the booth opens right out (where effectively it IS bigger on the inside) - nice concept and Il ook forward to seeing where you go with it :classic:

I hope this link will help you. :classic:

A nice design with an easy way to get to the inside.:classic:

The mini console inside the TARDIS door is brilliant. I'd love to see the actual model. Might want to order one myself!
