Fuzzylegobricks Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 (edited) awesome just awesome! you have a neat little truck there. you should make a WATER WELL DRILL RIG http://www.deeprock.com/frmTrailerRigs.aspx http://www.drillingsupply.info/water-well-easy-drill-rig.html http://waterwelldrillsklr.dthrotarydrilling.com/products/Trailer-Mounted-Hydraulic-Rigs.html http://www.alibaba.com/product-tp/105072974/Trailer_drill_rig_TT300MD/showimage.html keep on building! prateek Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Awesome! This is my favourite truck so far coming out of the mind of Lightningtiger, and the uncredited helpers (if any ) Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 9, 2010 Author Posted November 9, 2010 Thanks 'Fuzzylegobricks' and 'prateek' for your kind comments. Like I said in Tools & Equipment I might consider a water bore drilling rig, we shall see. I'm a conformist! ! Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Ooh, great job on the multi-functionality of your service truck lightiningtiger. The air compressor, the bobcat trailer, and 'other' trailers are really great add-ons to the truck. Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 9, 2010 Author Posted November 9, 2010 Thanks for the kind words 'KielDaMan' , actually the Bobcat trailer is a hige W-I-P as it must take a 7 wide including tyre width Bobcat. The trailer will eventally be 11 wide with green mudguards, keep on watching ! Quote
lightningtiger Posted December 2, 2010 Author Posted December 2, 2010 Yep, I decided to remove the air compressor and add a crane with outriggers to the truck. Which do you all prefer with or without crane ? Comments welcome and keep on repairing ! Quote
prateek Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 I love the crane! It's so compact! I like that the stabilizer folds into the vehicle when not in use. It looks really nice Quote

It looks really nice Thanks 'prateek' for your kind words, I actually still have the side of the truck you can't see to finish off with a control panel section for the crane. The air compressor is going to be displayed in the BOC Gas & Gear when I get around to it. A larger air compressor unit - towable that is - will be also eventally made. Keep on fixing ! Quote
Mrlegoninja Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 The crane is truly amazing! And I love the exterior! Great job! Quote
lightningtiger Posted December 3, 2010 Author Posted December 3, 2010 The crane is truly amazing! And I love the exterior! Great job! Thanks 'Mrlegoninja' for your kind comments, I'll be fixing that control panel in a few days - I'm currently working on the menswear/toy store....it's being a little tough today on the old brain cells. Keep on watching ! Quote

The cement mixer in the back is incredible, and you caputred it's unusual shape perfectly. Great job LT! Thank you 'Jay', well the only difference between the truck a few months back and now is that there are controls (the driver is operating them on the side of the truck) for the crane. The cement mixer was a hard one, but I feel quite happy with the result. I only need to make a better trailer for the bobcat to sit on....that might have to wait till after the train show. Brick On Everyone ! Quote
