Hello from France

Hi everyone,

My name is Frederic.

I have not played lego for the last 25 years.

Two weeks ago, I decided to visit Lego's site by curiosity. And I felt on these modular houses... And boum! I bought one, then two...

So, last week I received my first lego box for the last 25 years. I was moved to open it.

I acquired the Green Grocer last week and just today, I received the Fire Brigade.

The next acquisition will be logically the "Grand Emporium".

Since last week, I spend my evenings on these houses. The Green Grocer is not complete yet.

These houses are just awesome. I could see that I missed the "Market Place" and the "Café Corner". Too bad. :(

In my childhood I liked the "City" and "Space" themes.

I could noticed that the "Space" theme has gone...

A lot of pieces have disappeared but a lot of new ones have appeared. This is life!

So, I felt back in my childhood.

Is it serious doctor?

Greetings, Frederic! You'd be surprised how many AFOLs (Adult Fan of LEGO) exist. And I'm sure the doctor would approve you playing with plastic bricks. In fact, I know of a real doctor who plays with LEGO!

I'm afraid you've become an AFOL très cher compatriote!

The space theme is not gone, you have Space Police 3, you can still grab the second wave of sets and even the first. There are some cool design and characters with a real personality.

There's also a city Space theme, with this and some smaller sets are coming for 2011.

Enjoy eurobricks, here you will see some of the best creations and take advices from the best builders.

Hope we'll see some of your MOCs soon!

For sure, Lego has evolved since the last time I played with bricks. I hope someday the "Space" theme as I knew it will come back. Remember ll928 and so on. They were so cool. For sure if they do these again, I will get them!
