Hi everyone, been browsing the forum for a few weeks, and thought I'd join up after seeing how nice the place is and how helpful and detailed the reviews are.

I'm a fairly recent AFOL (getting used to the terminology is hard, especially the SNOT references, but I'm getting the hang of it!) after loving the City, Space an Castle themes of the 70s and 80s as a kid.

I am the webmaster of the longest running Minimates website around - I know, they are the "enemy!" - and despite getting some Lego sets from Indy, Space Police, Toy Story and Prince of Persia, mainly as presents, it took the Collectible Mini-Figures to really hook me back into Lego. Not a surprise considering my background, I guess. Since then I have been buying some Atlantis sets, I love the aesthetic of the subs.

Welcome to Eurobricks Danny! It's great to see one more adult re-discovering the world of LEGO. No wonder why you liked Collectible Minifigs so much. Although that I never had any experience with Minimates figures your site looks pretty interesting.
