Brickdoctor Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Exactly, lego and accuracy go hand in hand like honest and politician. Correction: AFOLs like accuracy, even if TLG doesn't seem to. Quote
DarthSion Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Hello! I am sorry that you don't like the updated version that much. Therefore, I prepared a special file with the original model - images and instructions - for you and all who liked the more orange version better. Click here to download the original version To answer your question, the Malevolence is still to be build, that's right. I will do my best when I get inspired. Regarding the Invisible Hand, it is already available here: Separatist Capital Ships Cheers, ~ Christopher Its ok mate, its your model, I just thought the colour was nicer, thanks for the link, and how did I miss the invisible hand. Correction: AFOLs like accuracy, even if TLG doesn't seem to. You mean the ones buying slave one with flick fire missiles lol. Quote

Masked Builder Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Like I said before it looks great! I do like it without the orange though. Quote
Darth Jar Jar Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Wow this is mini-tastic What will be your next mini model then Quote
erik530195 Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 This looks loads betterthan the lego version. The grey colors don't bother me. I made a Tantive IV out of completely grey bricks, and it looks fine. Quote
Fallenangel Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Just because flick fires don't work doesn't make them inaccurate. The Slave 1 does have missiles. I think he was referring to the obscenely large hole in the back where the plunger for the flick fire missiles is. Quote
CommanderFox Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Fantastic job as always Chris! You have done a great job making the snowspeeder in mini form, nice amount of Orange, and good amount of greebles. Love it! Keep it up! CF Quote
Enpaz Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 That's quite nice really! Keep up the good work Quote
brickbuilder Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 That is really cool! Just out of curiosity...is your MINIs all scaled to each other? I doubt it, unless the snow speeder is really half the size of a star destroyer Quote
Legostein Posted November 28, 2010 Author Posted November 28, 2010 Hello! Thank you for the additional comments everyone. It seems I still owe you an answer about scales. The almost 200 mini models in the collection are not to scale with each other. The range of sizes is simply too wide. I usually choose a scale that lets me include most details best. Some vessels are to scale by cooincident or by request. For example a small Acclamator to scale with the Venator, or a Nebulon-B to scale with the UCS ISD. Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
brickbuilder Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 I really like the design, but personally I like white snowspeeders, instead of grey, eventhough they are supposed to be grey Quote
