lightningtiger Posted November 9, 2010 Author Posted November 9, 2010 Again great stuff lightningtiger. Finally a cherry picker. I love it, It's So good it might even AWESOME . As always, cant wait to see what you do next . Thanks, CB Well, thank you CB for your kind comments, I'm still trying right at this moment to design the nail gun in LDD, but dam, it's hard....I'll keep trying, but I might have to build it the old fashioned way.....scratch-build it ! I'll keep you updated everyone so keep on fixing things ! Quote
buddy Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Great cherrypicker, lightningtiger! I like that you haven't used the click hinges on it, otherwise I agree it would look too bulky. Well done. ~buddy~ Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 9, 2010 Author Posted November 9, 2010 Thanks 'buddy' for those kind words, I'm glad everyone likes my cherry picker. Anyway, I have just finished a nail gun design that might fit the bill, it should look similar to one of these... I should be posting my creation later on this morning (my time ).....keep on waiting ! Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 9, 2010 Author Posted November 9, 2010 Okay, I need everyone's opinion on this nail gun...... Comments welcome and keep on nailling ! Quote
prateek Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Nice, but that black part is a bit too big. Maybe you could leave it as 1x1. Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 9, 2010 Author Posted November 9, 2010 Nice, but that black part is a bit too big. Maybe you could leave it as 1x1. Okay, now lets try this..... Thanks for the suggestion 'prateek', now comments very welcome and keep on nailing. P.S. Since I made that gas welding rig, I was thinking of making a small BOC Gas and Gear store with a gas bottle loading platform....knocking it up on LDD right now. Quote
Fuzzylegobricks Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Very cool nail gun lightningtiger! keep it up Quote

MightySlickPancake Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Very nice . But the colour scheme looks a bit weird, Maybe just yeallow and black like the the pic? Over all it's great so well done. Cant wait for the BOC Gas & Gear store . Thanks, CB Quote
buddy Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Great nail gun MOC lightningtiger! It is very realistic and accurate. I like the latest version of it better than the previous version. But I agree with crabboy329, that you could build a yellow & black version too. Well done. ~buddy~ Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 10, 2010 Author Posted November 10, 2010 Thanks 'buddy' and 'crabboy329' for your kind comments , I'll try and make a yellow/black one later on today. Still planning more tools and machinery......oh, yeah I'm planning a super MOC made up of many modules including the BOC store which is first cab of the rank (start work very shortly). I'm a conformist! ! Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 16, 2010 Author Posted November 16, 2010 Since I started building my BOC Gas & Gear store, I needed an arc welder, so...... Please check it out on display in BOC Gas & Gear posting, comments very welcome and keep on welding ! Quote

LEGO Guy Bri Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 AWESOME JOB on these tools! Great inspiration. I just went through all my spare pieces (and realized I can't build half of these). But the ones I could, I did! Now you should try your hand at some shop tools. i.e. drill press, lathe, grinding wheel, benchtop cold saw, shop vac, pipe bender, bead former, or stamping press to name a few. If you need reference pics just type in any of these names and that should get you to an image quickly. Looking forward to see which ones you attempt or any new MOCs you create. Keep on fabricating Lightningtiger! Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 16, 2010 Author Posted November 16, 2010 Thanks for the comments and suggestions 'Leg Godt Gud' - I might take some of those design ideas on board for my heavy vehicle workshop to be part of my truck stop which sadly is still a few months away. Keep on fixing ! Quote
