DarthSion Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 I was just looking into dates for when TTgames released the Lego games, and I noticed this, it lists 2 games, a lego toy story and second hairy plopper. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traveller%27s_Tales#Titles Can't say I am surprised given the release of Lego Toy story sets, and hairy plopper 2 is a no brainer. Brickdoctor Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 I'm not surprised at either of these, but I don't think I'd get either. Not enough of a Toy Story fan to buy the game and definitely not an HP fan. Quote
Darth Jar Jar Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 If these are true I know Oky will buy the toy story one Quote
commanderneyo Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 There is another known Lego game which will not be released for a good number of years. Lego star wars the clone wars || Based on Seasons 3, 4 and 5 of the animated series. Quote
DarthSion Posted October 29, 2010 Author Posted October 29, 2010 I will have to see how TS looks, but obviously HP is out for me. Quote
simonjedi Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 hairy plopper. Wow, It's like being in 2001 again. Lego Harry Potter II and Lego Harry Potter the complete saga will obviously be released, Lego Toy Story sound interesting and it is pretty plausible. Quote
Professor Flitwick Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 and a second hairy plopper. Whats wrong, sad it isn't another Star Bores centred around debates in the senate? Anyway, Toy Story should be interesting, and Harry Potter years 5-7 is a no brainer. Quote
Oky Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 If these are true I know Oky will buy the toy story one You're darn-tootin' right I will! LHP2 was indeed a no-brainer, but TS is a bit questionable, now that there don't seem to be any new sets and the last movie is about to be released on DVD already. But there's no doubt it would sell as well as any of the other games, if not even better, so here's hoping this is true and not just another wiki-hoax. Quote
Big Cam Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 Given the ridiculous number of games I saw in the fall catalog, we'll probably get a power mineral game too. Quote
CMP Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 LHP5-7 sounds good. 7 will probably be split into 2, based on the movie. Quote
Mrlegoninja Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Remember, you can't always trust Wiki. Even if these are true, HP is a no, but Toy story sounds interesting. Quote
Big Cam Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Remember, you can't always trust Wiki. Even if these are true, HP is a no, but Toy story sounds interesting. They are both possible, with a new movie coming out, anything is possible. Quote
Aanchir Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 I have doubts in the feasibility of a Toy Story game. First of all, while LEGO was able to avoid using characters belonging to their competitors in the actual sets, that would be impossible in games that covered the entirety of the three films (or even a single one). Being a film series about toys, the presence of competing manufacturers' brands would be impossible to avoid. Furthermore, since Toy Story is already about toys, the LEGO Star Wars-type novelty of "same story, but told with your childhood toys!" is completely lost. And lastly, we have had no indication that Toy Story as a theme is continuing next year. True, LEGO does an OK job of keeping their licensed themes hidden, but given that we've already gotten leaked information on the Cars 2 sets next year, there's no reason LEGO Toy Story info would not have appeared at the same time. As for the LEGO Harry Potter game, practically everyone is expecting one. That doesn't make Wikipedia nonsense suggesting such any more valid, of more worthy of fans' attention. Wikipedia does not allow original research-- that means that any real, valid information will appear somewhere else before it appears on Wikipedia. When that happens, we can judge whether that other source seems valid-- but completely unsourced information on Wikipedia is never enough to go on. Quote
Commander Assassin Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 I would be surprised if these titles are real because a month or two ago Lego Batman 2 was on the same page but now its deleted from the list. Quote
DarthSion Posted November 2, 2010 Author Posted November 2, 2010 Unless the toy story is going to be changed to a Pixar brand, or Disney they are supposed to be several Pixar movies being turned into lego sets. Quote
Sam Vimes Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 On a off topic note, I have been thinking, wouldn't it be cool if they did Back to the Future a game. Quote
Penitent Tangent Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 This is coming straight off a wikipedia article with no source, so I'll go out on a limb and say this is false. However, as others have said, HP 5-7 is almost certain and Toy Story is at least a possibility, though personally I can't see how it'd be that interesting. Quote
