Awesome to see someone talking about the NES as a novelty! I don't think you're older than everyone else, but those of us who remember when the NES was launched are probably a minority on EB...

Problem here is that Blondie-Wan frowned upon us youngsters that remember NES with nostalgia, he refers to the arcade game that came out in 1982 (NES came out 1985, don't know when Joust was ported to that platform). So yes Blondie-Wan, you are that much older than everyone else!

Yeeees, that's what I meant with "the NES as a novelty" Back in the days, we rented NES consoles, as you did with "movie boxes" (a primitive VCR player), just as DVD movies nowadays.

Sorry for the off-topic. The new ostrich is a hoot!

Ah, I misunderstood the meaning of "novelty". My bad! My family rented NES on the local gas station from time-to-time, then we spent the whole summer picking blueberries which we sold to finally afford our own.

Before this turns into the

I'll shut up!

Now back to admiring the cock ostrichfight!

Awesome MOC Mister Knight Flare ;)

I've wanted that set for quite along time. Especially for the bare and muscled Dastan torso and the Ostrichs. I still don't have the set but who cares ?

I like the sand design, and I appreciated you kept the "brick design" instead of putting little flat plates on every single brick. It makes the sand look even more realistic

I like it
