lisqr Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 I wanted to build a cylindrical object and it ended up looking like a cannon. So I turned it into one. Here's the result. My Flickr link Comment and criticism are welcome. Quote
Milargo Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 First off, I love the colors the orange and grey work well. And at the back of the model you have two wheels interlocked, fits perfectly in the sense they look like a power generator, and the designs on the side of the weapons look great, adds alotta' depth. The piping at the bottom, the green energy on the inside of the weapon. All nice detail that help pull this model together. Quote
Brickviller Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 That's cool a very big laser cannon space ship I also like the colors, orange and grey give me always some kinds of sci-fy feeling to a creation. Sadly it doesn't include an interior does it? Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 Wow, what an energy weapon eh ? Great work 'lisqr' and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 Great MOC lisqr! That's one massive cylindrical 'thingy' alright. Though I don't see it as a cannon, but rather as a huge power generator like what Milargo pointed out. The overall SNOT finish is just fantastic! Quote
Plastemaurer Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Nice MOC, lisqr. I like the grey and orange color scheme and the details you put in it. But in general it does not look very cannon like to me. It reminds me more of one of the LHC experiments like ATLAS or CMS. Not exactly of course, more in a general way. Quote
ProducePrincess Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 It's intresting but looks more like some kind of giant power generator or SHIP engine. Maybe build a stand to have it angled so it looks like fixed artillery . Nice construction on the front . Quote
Randal Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 It would be interesting to see this placed in a proper setting. Is it ginormus and in minifig scale? or something that's somewhat up close and on some other scale? Quote
