filospinato Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Little history: I grew up playing with LEGO sets in the early 80's, mostly classic space. I really enjoyed collecting the M-Tron line, saved chore and birthday money to buy them and still have them all. Around 14, I became more interested in my dad's business of British cars so the LEGO sets were put into the attic. Fast forward to 2008, my son received a Star Wars LEGO set for his birthday and it reignited my love of the brick. I dug out the M-Tron sets from my parent's attic and proceeded to find the missing bits online. Then I got into collecting SW sets and they're taking over. So, I'm 32, a native NYer living in CA, which is great as there is a LEGO store 10 mins down the road. I'm a degreed mechanical engineer and work as a design engineer at a local aerospace firm. That's what I do to earn money to buy more LEGO, as if anyone could ever have enough. Anyways, that's me. I enjoy lurking more than posting and am really impressed by the creativity on this board, very inspiring. Cheers, filospinato Quote
