DLuders Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 Ruudriessen/ Ruudtechnic made a nice, studded "Skip Truck" (container truck), and posted these images and YouTube video link on his Brickshelf gallery. The images are HUGE, so only the thumbnails appear below. He wrote, "This is my skip truck. It has pneumatic functions and it has remote control driving and electric compressor": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2ak4pc5Dkg Quote
Paul B Technic Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 That looks really good, much better then the current Technic skip truck. Paul Quote
Milan Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Nice MOC. I like studded body, but this studlees cabin is very good. Functions are also very nice, overall great model in smaller scale! Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 nice truck is that skip in place? Quote
Jurgen Krooshoop Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 (edited) It certainly looks better than the 8052 and is also quite a bit bigger. But the lifting-mechanism seems a bit clumsy. The video doesn't show that he manualy attaches the container-chains to the lifting-arms whereas the 8047 can completely pick up the container by itself. But the suspension, gearbox and outriggers are really nice. Edited October 21, 2010 by Jurgen Krooshoop Quote
Tobbe Arnesson Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 The video doesn't show that he manualy attaches the container-chains to the lifting-arms That's how it's done in the real world so why not on the model? Quote
