It All Ends Here Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 (edited) This is my very first Vignette. I hope you all like it! http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4092/5094626556_ddc8aa0996_b.jpg As you can see this scene takes place in the 6th film of the Harry Potter Series. At the moment when Ginny kisses Harry and she hides the book of the Half-Blood Prince. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4151/5094042787_bfbf7cb8c2_b.jpg Here a picture from Ginny's back. Maybe you will notice that Neville's Remembrall (I thinks he has forgotten it years ago ) http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4130/5094043155_7625cd2c32_b.jpg And here a picture from Harry's back. And what do you think? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATED! I made this new version of my first vignette, because I felt (and you people to:wink:)that the first one was to empty for the Room of Requiment. So here is the updated version of my first vignette! : As you can see I have putted a wall on the backside and onther cabinet. Like a few of you have notice I put the Ravenclaw statue on one of the cabinets.(I hate it that Harry doesn't see this in the movie!!) http://farm5.static....d4a11cab7_b.jpg This a shot from Harry's back and the Remembrall of Nevill is still there http://farm5.static....b22073d18_b.jpg Here a shot from Ginny's back and you can see the new cabinet with Tom Riddle's Diary (I thought Dumbledore has kept it safe? ) http://farm5.static....db88a8328_b.jpg And one extra shot from an up-view. I hope that this one is better then the old one Edited October 21, 2010 by It All Ends Here Quote
The Soup Nazi Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Nice vignette, though it is a bit plain. Quote
ADHO15 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Nice vig! Who knew Ravenclaw's diadem was really a fedora?! Nice vignette, though it is a bit plain. True. Some more details would look good in a cluttered Room of Requirement. Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 AW, THATS CUTE ! Nice little vig there 'It All Ends Here' - the shelves could have used log bricks to give some detail instead of looking plain, but still it's C & C - cute and cool ! Keep on casting spells ! Quote
badboytje88 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I hated that scene! How is harry going to know in the next movie where the last horcrux is if he didn't see it when he hid the book? Quote
Masked Builder Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 Interesting... I'm not sure I like it. But that's just me. Quote
Nick Wolfe Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 Cute, some more clutter would have been nice, to capture the look of the room of requirement, but cool. Is that the lost diadem I spy? I never knew Ravenclaw was such a Lucas fan. Quote

Geertos13 Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 (edited) Yeah this is great :D I love this one, this is great when I saw the first i though Hmmmwaah But now I think : MWWYYEEAAAH ! Love the design of the wall, but you probably make them a bit higher and make two of them with a painting or a decoration or something on one of them, but it's up to you. Nice to see that you wanted to improve, and so you did ! Edited October 19, 2010 by Geertos13 Quote
Ravenclaw2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 This is pretty good. I love that new Ginny hairpiece(I still don't have it! ) By the way, is a vignette just a small LEGO model? Quote
Oky Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Very nice vig indeed, one that was inevitable now that we got a good Ginnyfig. The first version was indeed too empty, but this update looks much better, although I think that black wall is unnecessary. May I suggest deeplinking the new pics and adding them to the first post? That would help avoid confusion. Yeah this is great :D I love this one, this is great You already said that. By the way, is a vignette just a small LEGO model? No, it's a scene built on a square base, usually 8x8 such as this one. Keep the HP MOCs coming! Quote
Clone OPatra Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Very nice vig indeed, one that was inevitable now that we got a good Ginnyfig. Did I spy somebody writing 'Ginnyfig?' Why, yes! Your second version of the MOC looks better; it's nice to see all of that stuff on the shelves. I was very disappointed with the kiss in the movie, since Harry had made out with Cho in the previous film, but his kiss with Ginny was just a little peck. Hopefully the Deathly Hallows film will make amends for this. But that's all a discussion for Culture and Multimedia… Perhaps you could think of adding the vanishing cabinet which was behind Harry and Ginny in the film when they kiss. Quote
It All Ends Here Posted October 21, 2010 Author Posted October 21, 2010 Perhaps you could think of adding the vanishing cabinet which was behind Harry and Ginny in the film when they kiss. Yes I wanted to do that but I still don't got the Hogwarts Castle so that's the reason why it's not in this build. May I suggest deeplinking the new pics and adding them to the first post? That would help avoid confusion. Is this good? Thank you for you're comment. Quote
Oky Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 (edited) Did I spy somebody writing 'Ginnyfig?' Why, yes! Hehe, nothing escapes your cloned egyptian eyes, eh? Hope you don't mind me using that term. Is this good? Thank you for you're comment. Yes, but as I said, you might wanna deeplink at least one of the new pictures.
