The Mugbearer Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 (edited) The Ganmen During the time of their creation I has been enthusiastic about 'modular model' idea, where the module was a part of MOC which can be added to original without any structure losses. And so, the first one is a Sky Ganmen, because he can fly. Also he fights with a massive iron fists. Without any modules the robot looks very tiny and cute. ^_^ He has short arms and foots built from Toa Metrus' heads. And now - the modules. This is green one's module set: Step One: Step Two: Step Three: Step Four: In my opinion, he looks stylish with these: And there is Ganmen's structure: The second one is called 'Gunner': His module set is inspiring: Step One: Step Two: Step Three: Step Four: Step Five: Step Six: Step Seven: So, Ganmen is complete and ready for bombardment. Milargo Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Fabelhaft, these are very well built. (Always liked the modular model concept.) Very clever, and nice possibility. Reminds me of "Medabots" for some reason. Quote
The Mugbearer Posted October 18, 2010 Author Posted October 18, 2010 Well thank you, Milagro!) But who are those Medabots? Quote
Nightshroud99 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Wow those are great! Really creative! Quote
Milargo Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 (edited) Well thank you, Milagro!) But who are those Medabots? "The idea of Medabots is that you can do battle with other robots and swap limbs, heads and more. Each Medabot comes with a removeable medal that gives each robot its personality." Robots with modular limbs, armor and weapons I remembered seeing in a store, when I saw these they reminded me of em'. I'd like to see more of these, this would be a fantastic Lego line. The Mugbearer Posted October 20, 2010 Author Posted October 20, 2010 (edited) Hm. Why this topic's name contains 'LDD MOC' when there's no any LDD? It wasn't me. Edited October 20, 2010 by -N13OS- Quote
Milargo Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 For the record... A Medabots like LEGO line would be amazing! That would be amazing, especially if their 1:1 scale. Hm. Brickthing Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Hm. Why this topic's name contains 'LDD MOC' when there's no any LDD? It wasn't me. Whoops, I was formatting the titles and forgot that this was a normal MOC when your other topics were LDD MOCs. Quote
The Mugbearer Posted October 21, 2010 Author Posted October 21, 2010 In Action Figures Forums my models are real, mostly from Bionicle. Besides Soundwave and MilAgro Combot. =) In Sci-Fi forums I has uploaded lots of LDD models now,and some real models a few years ago. Quote
