The Mugbearer Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 This guy is a Throwbot - a part of an good old LEGO Technic theme, that was an ancestor of Bionicles. In the Europe they was known as Slizers. European name: Judje American name: Jet. This guy has a few differences like the new legs and hands. Also he got a jetpack with independent copter-wings that hasn't attached to the cog-wheels in Jet's body. Unfortunately, only one picture remains, 'cuz I forced to sell the set. =( Anyway, enjoy what I got. =) Quote
Milargo Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 I love this sudden influx of Slizer/Roborider mocs. Really digging the leg design on this fella, claws fit him perfectly. Great build on Jet's jetpack, really cool propellers, wish I could see mroe of his torso. I could never figure out how well the throwing arm would work with ball joints. Keep on mocing! Quote
The Mugbearer Posted October 17, 2010 Author Posted October 17, 2010 Keep on mocing! I have a lots of MOCs to view here. =) You need only be patient and wait. =) What a pity that I has sold Jet... Because I has a two great MOC's which impossible without him. And I even didn't made any pics! T_T Thank you! Quote
Milargo Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 I have a lots of MOCs to view here. =) You need only be patient and wait. =) Hey, cool. I'll check em' out. They say patience is a virture but, I never believed them. What a pity that I has sold Jet... Because I has a two great MOC's which impossible without him. And I even didn't made any pics! T_T Thank you! Pity? It's blasphemy, Slizer mocs are some of the best kind of mocs. Maybe they'll have him at a good price on Ebay one o' these days. Quote
The Mugbearer Posted October 17, 2010 Author Posted October 17, 2010 For the Russian it's a quite problematic to buy Jet via EBay. ( Dammit, I made a good Slizer/Roborider fusion with him! T_T Quote

What a beautiful country. Though I can see why it'd be tough through Ebay... You could try and make a roborider fusion with his new 'n' improved version. Quote
The Mugbearer Posted October 17, 2010 Author Posted October 17, 2010 Impossible. He strongly needs some parts from Jet. Ah, the Motherland! What a beautiful country. A motherland? You are from Russia? Quote
Milargo Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 (edited) Impossible. He strongly needs some parts from Jet. A motherland? You are from Russia? Sadly no, I was born in Hati and reside currently in the United States of America, I'm part Russian and part German so I do have Russian heritage, absolutely love the Russian history and culture. Read about it every chance I get. Edited October 17, 2010 by Milargo Quote

Dan the Brickman Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 This ones kanda neat. The legs do look like a predatory birds or a veloceraptor! And the coloring is uniform, so I like it. Quote
Once In A Lifetime Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 I would have very much enjoyed getting a couple sets like this. Unfortunately, I'm to lazy to order one. Quote
Big Cam Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 I like it, I think it reminds me of bumblebee from the transformers movies, probably due to the yellow. Quote
Masked Builder Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 (edited) It reminds me of something from Hero Factory. Nice work. Edited November 6, 2010 by Masked Builder Quote
ZORK64 Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 It reminds me of something from Hero Factory. Nice work. Hey yeah, I haven't it noticed yet, but... that remake of Judge would also quite fit well into the Hero Factory-canon... (however, Hero Factory always reminded of Slizers, probably because of the more futuristic setting) Anyway, he looks really neat. He's a wonderful update of the original. Did you use the original Judge Slizer torso? Quote
The Mugbearer Posted November 10, 2010 Author Posted November 10, 2010 Did you use the original Judge Slizer torso? Yes, I did. But wings weren't connected with gears. Quote
