RemcoTec Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 (edited) Hey Technic builders, I'm new here and now come with my first MOC of 8258 set. I am approximately one month, been busy, but is not quite completely finished. He has 8 engines which 1 XL and 7 M-engines 4 RC recipients 4 LA`s 3 RC Remote`s and a Batarij box. He is under contrucie, want there is still enough custom are such as the lift arm of the container and the colors still need to be trimmed. I am open to comments and leave but regardless what you think. Follow me, this is so far the most comprehensive 8258 MOC that there is …. 1Xl motor for driving, with 4 powered rear wheels 1M motor for steering, 4 steered wheels 1M motor for the lower arm of the crane 1M motor for the upper arm of the crane 1M motor to spin the crane 1M motor for the stabilisation unit arm in/out 1M Motor for the container to lock/unlock 1M Motor to empty the container and losen 2LA'S for the crane 2LA's for the container Edited July 24, 2011 by RemcoTec Quote
DLuders Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 (edited) Welcome to Eurobricks! You sure introduced yourself with a FANTASTIC creation! It's a nice combination of the 8258 Crane Truck and the 8052 Container Truck. I'm glad the the entire truck is not all RED, and that there is some variety. Edited July 24, 2011 by DLuders Quote
Milan Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Nice. One notice... Both drive and steer motors are struggling when operating. You should have made more reduction in drive and steer functions. Quote
dr_spock Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Nice work. Did you have to move the engine up to fit the XL motor under it? Quote
rien Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 hello verry nice work hope to see it in real life soon!;) greetz rien Quote
RemcoTec Posted October 26, 2010 Author Posted October 26, 2010 Thank you for the comments, Here are accounted for more specifications on my MOC of 8258 L x W x H L: 68 cm, total: 98 cm W: 19 cm, total: 37 cm H: 25 cm, total: 56cm Total weight: 3800 grams (including battery box) In order to place the XL motor does not require the V8 not move. I myself made a V6 of yet a working fake motor to keep. Do you want to know more, bring it on with the questions. Gr RemcoTec (dat komt goed man ) Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 very nice, made have you got the legs angled so when they come out they stabilize the truck? Quote

davidmull Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 Very nicely done, have u any instructions for these mods? Quote
DLuders Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 As dr.gazza noted above, it seems that (in the USA at least) the images are not visible. All we see in the USA are red boxes for each picture that say: "mijnalbum.nl -- Deze foto bestaat niet of is reeds verwijderd." [This photograph does not exist or has been already removed] Quote
Tobbe Arnesson Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Same thing in Sweden, I reckon the photos have been taken down or moved. Quote
yoraish Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Same thing in Sweden, I reckon the photos have been taken down or moved. Israel too. Quote

DLuders Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 @ RemcoTec: Your website is quite good. I used Yahoo! Babelfish to translate it into an English translation; others could use Babelfish to translate your Dutch webpage into their own language. I like seeing the many pictures of your 8258 XXL MOC there! Quote
RemcoTec Posted July 24, 2011 Author Posted July 24, 2011 for the next one, on the left site by Links you see English Translation, click en and the website is in English Thanks Dluders for the suggestion Quote
timslegos Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Fantastic MOC! The functions all work very well and i am amazed that you managed to fit them all inside the truck. For the crane, is there any way to gear up the LA's so they move faster? And a suggestion for future videos; use tripod, or a stack of books or something so the shaking will be kept to a minimum. tim Quote
