Magina Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 Hello Friends, its me Chris from Germany. You all have seen the Pics of my Friends (Rob) World Trade Center but today i want to show you my version of the Empire State Building. It took me about one year to finish it, the only thing left are some Details like the Windows in the Frames. So here are some Datas for you: Area: 46x64 0,53m x 0,37m Height: without the antenna 1,63m and with the antenna about 2,30m Amount of used Stones: Please don't ask me about that, i haven't counted them ;) So i think i've told enough, so heave fun with the Pics, because they're a bit bigger, i post some Links to them. Greetings, Chris P.s.: Sorry if my english isn't all correct, i have some problems with the grammar. The Yellow Brick Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 (edited) Hey Dudes, at first thanks for your Comments. What should i say, that King Kong thing was already in my Mind to, but im not really good at building big Animals so ... maybe later in time. Maybe you could just put a Toy gorilla on top and take some exciting pictures or just put this on top. Edited October 17, 2010 by The Red Brick Quote
Magina Posted October 17, 2010 Author Posted October 17, 2010 Well, i don't think that you could even see this tiny Monkey on the Top of my ESB, well what should i say, i don't really like the Idea with the Toy Gorilla, if i do this i wan't to only use Legomade Stuff. Greetings, Chris Quote
OptimusPrime12380 Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Excellent MOC, IMO we need more MOC High-Rises and Skyscrapers on here! I mean, you can't really have a city without them. Quote
Zorbas Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Fantastic work Magina! It seems that you've put a lot of work (and money ) on this brilliant creation. Well done! Seeing your MOC I hear Jay-Z and Alicia Keys singing "Empire State of Mind" in the background. ♫ ♫Concrete Plastic jungle where dreams are made of...♫ ♫ Great song! Quote
JimBee Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Hey Magina, wonderful piece of work here. It's huge! Pretty accurate, too, as far as I can tell. It obviously doesn't have an interior since you didn't show one, but maybe adding some things on the inside would make the all the more awesome. By the way, having deeplinked images can be nicer than just posting the links for your viewers. You'd be surprised at how many people skip over posts without pictures. To deeplink, just copy the image's online location (URL), and paste into the box that comes up when you click this button in your post editor: . But make sure you resize them if you decide to deeplink, they're a little big for forum standards. If you need any help with that, you can always check the Index of Tutorials. Your works would get a lot more attention if they were deeplinked, I think. Quote
Brick & Mortimer Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 How long did it took you to built this? That building is insane , in the most positive meaning of the word off course . ... You'd be surprised at how many people skip over posts without pictures. ... They don't know what they're missing, amazing MOC! Quote
wooootles Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 Wow! This is amazing! That takes perseverance and determination! (and money and time!) Quote
prateek Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 Wow! Tis impressive! This would look amazing in any Lego city. Quote
