Macross / Robotech Reguld model

Hello,

Here my last Macross / Robotech model : the Reguld (or regult).

This model is at Technic fig scale which is very uncommon for me.

Excellent Macross MOC BaronSat! I love those slopes and curves and the overall smooth finish. And you really did a good job accomodating a Technic fig inside.

Do all the lights flash on and off so we know if it is friend or foe?

That is a great MOC, there are never enough Macross/Robotech MOCs around. I love the use of a techfig as a Zentradi.

I wonder how big it would need to be if it were to be built to minifig scale (As in a minifig is a micronian to fit in the palm of a Zentradi hand...)

Amazing Zentaedi Battlepod Baron. Your attention to detail is always excellent and this has some nifty features. The inclusion of the larger fig as Peppermint said is a nice touch. I loved this show as a kid and still watch some of the DVD's from time to time.

*blinks and clears his throat* I mean...excellent work! LOL seriously though, Battlepods (and Robotech/Macross) has been one of my favorite Anime/mecha since i was like 6 yrs old...Yes, that was a long-ish time ago, despite how i opened this post LOL

Not crazy about the pilot figure personally, but the Pod itself more than makes up for it! :thumbup:

Upon examination, they appear fixed at the hip and there is only hinge movement at the knee. I try to design ball joints into my mechs. I need to get back into making some.
