On the grounds that Bane is not mentioned once by anyone, even in the EU, once Episode III rolls around. Cad is going to die before CW ends, likely in a way that kills any legacy he had to keep the EU intact. I wouldn't be surprised if Boba is the one that does him in, giving Boba's history when interacting with other bounty hunters.

I think most of the hatred of Cad is the fact that he is a direct knockoff of Clint Eastwood in the Dollars trilogy. The topic should be "Who is deadlier: Cad Bane or Blondie?"

I wouldn't say Cad Bane will die soon. It is possible George Lucas will save him and bring him in the live action series.

No, thank you. As much as I like Bane I wouldn't want him to become a live action character, that will just tarnish his bada$$ persona. (Just remember how Boba fared in the movies). Characters are simply portrayed better, even if unrealistic, in animation and in the novels. Now that I've thought about it, if ever the adult Boba Fett was featured in a same CW-style series, that would certainly cement his reputation as the best bounty hunter ever.

Personally, I think the two are just incompatible. Just as live actionwould ruin Bane, I think the CW style of animation and story wouldnruin Boba. The same way Anakin and Obi-Wan look worse in CW than in RotS, but we all would never want Ahsoka as a live action character.

Boba Fett is a popular villain in the long-running Star Wars movie saga!

I enjoy Boba Fett, sure, but he's far from my favorite Star Wars character.
