lightningtiger Posted October 14, 2010 Author Posted October 14, 2010 this reminds me of a small airport You know I never thought of that, thanks for the idea ! Quote
drevim Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 this reminds me of a small airport I was thinking the same thing. Looks like it would fit perfect with a small shack style airport, and a dirt runway. A kin to so many movies we see of the outback type airstrip. Really love the MOCs, LT. Seems you are always thinking two steps ahead, and fitting each piece into your town. Quote
The Soup Nazi Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 Ohh. a very nice addition to your town Quote
jonwil Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 A small airport would look good in your town LT. Gotta have somewhere for the RFDS to land when there is an emergency... :) Quote
Mrlegoninja Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 Looks great! It reminds me of a parking lot though... Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 15, 2010 Author Posted October 15, 2010 Thanks 'Mrlegoninja', 'jonwil', 'The Soup Nazi' and 'drevim' for your comments, etc.,. An air strip - I'm having a good think about it. Now I should give a quick update, depot - front wall/fence underway, motorcycle dealer - final stickering/tiling next week, hotel - dinning room and roof by the end of next week, plus I have started work on a park to go in front of the hotel, etc.,. Keep on watching ! Quote
The Yellow Brick Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 This is really nice Lightningtiger, I agree with Jonwil. It would fit in a small airport really nice Quote
Masked Builder Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 Now I should give a quick update, depot - front wall/fence underway, motorcycle dealer - final stickering/tiling next week, hotel - dinning room and roof by the end of next week, plus I have started work on a park to go in front of the hotel, etc.,. lightningtiger Posted October 16, 2010 Author Posted October 16, 2010 Thanks 'Masked Builder' and 'The Red Brick' for your comments, I'll be back working on everything tomorrow. I'll start work on an airstrip/airport in a few weeks. Keep on wathcing ! Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 18, 2010 Author Posted October 18, 2010 (edited) Well, this one is done..... Nothing to fancy, just more practical than pretty.....hey it's a council depot eh ? Fences are done, an extra tap to wash off muddy boots and a fire extinguisher - well it's needed for the fuel tank there....even though it's diesel ! Comments welcome and etc., you know the rest by now 1 Edited October 18, 2010 by lightningtiger Quote
Fuzzylegobricks Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Nice one! I like that you showed that Mocs don't have to be too complicated to be awesome! Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 18, 2010 Author Posted October 18, 2010 Thanks for the kind comments 'Fuzzylegobricks', I just better start building some more trailers and trucks eh ? Keep on .....leaning on that shovel ! Quote
Antonio Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Awesome lightningtiger ,pure awesomeness it looks like a truck yard with a small ?gas? reloader. Keep on inging lightningtiger :D! Quote
Skafte Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I might be a little late with my suggestion, but isn't the diesel tank a bit small? Two or three trucks and that container would need a refill You could use eight of these to make a significantly bigger one! Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 18, 2010 Author Posted October 18, 2010 Thanks for the comments and suggestions 'Antonio' and 'Skafte' - now making a tank that size would be bigger than the servo itself, but yes the tank I have could be larger, so I might consider using curve bricks instead. Hello, LDD ! I'm a conformist! everyone ! Quote
