BearHeart Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 On September 19, I contacted LEGO CS regarding a missprinted part I recieved in a LEGO set. I recieved an auotmated email from them on the same day saying that a replacement piece will be sent out and it should arrive in 10 business days. The email also said that they will contact me if they need any more info from me. It is now October 13 and I still haven't recieved my piece or any other information from LEGO. Is this normal? Is the 10 day period just an estimate? Also, does LEGO send out replacement pieces from its manufacturing sites or do they have Customer Service centers in each country with a supply of parts? PS. I used LEGO customer service for another problem piece about 3 years ago and I recieved that one in a short period of time. Quote
Front Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 Costumer Service might have been very busy sending out replacement parts for the Technic 8043 set. I would suggest to give it a few more days before contacting them again. If it's not urgent Quote
OneSnowTrooper Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 If they say "10 business days" I suggest you contact them. Quote
Darth Jar Jar Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 Well Im still waiting from one I asked for since the beginning off september I think I will call them Quote
prateek Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 I'm still waiting for one from two years ago, whereas I got another one last year in two weeks from the request. Quote
Big Cam Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 I'm still waiting for one from two years ago, whereas I got another one last year in two weeks from the request. Waiting 2 years for a replacement part, are you joking? You must know it's not coming. As for the original poster, a month is too long, I'd call back to follow up. Quote

dr_spock Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 2 years? Canadians must have great patience. Still waiting for my 8043 service pack. Quote
Mrlegoninja Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 (edited) 2 years? Canadians must have great patience. Still waiting for my 8043 service pack. Your service pack will come, I got mine just a few days ago. As to Prateek, did you get the piece off Bricklink? Edited October 14, 2010 by Mrlegoninja Quote

I've never bought anything off BL in my life. Anyways, that set was no big set, and the piece was just a generic piece. Quote
BearHeart Posted November 1, 2010 Author Posted November 1, 2010 UPDATE: Well, I got my package from LEGO a few days ago. Seems it was stuck at customs/canadapost for some time. The stamp on it says Sept 28th so it made it to customs 9 days after my initial order (Sept 19). Looks like it was Canadian Customs or Canada Post that responsible for the delay and not LEGO CS. Good job LEGO customer service. Quote
