Hey all!

A little guard house for the Lion Knights with a stable. It didn't start out as a Lion Knights MOC, but when completed I thought it fit the faction. Only thing is that it could use more brown in the building, but lack of brown bricks prevent this.

Thanks for looking.

Very nice looking guard outpost, I love the greeneries surrounding the structure. Just curious though, is the base really built that way (not the usual rectangular base)? Or is it just 'shopped? Anyway, great job on this MOC Deviet!

I think its a regular baseplate with green foliage hanging off.

The baseplate is built with a lot of green plates in the irregular shape you see. I wanted to make the base morge organic looking, thats why I put all the foliage around the edges to make the edges of the plates "invisible". The only Photoshop done is colors, contrast and cutting out the background. :)

Thanks guys!

Very clean, I love the sharpness of he picture, it makes me want more.

I'm not sure why but the chrome swords really make this for me.

The foliage is also worth noting. Great job.

A lovely guard house Deviet, the foliage and natural looking ground are great as too the coloured bricks on the tower itself. The tower to me looks a little top heavy but all in all is nicely done.

Yep, you're right. I should have build a bigger part for the door and staircase to get it more in balance. Thanks!

Nice! It looks like the roof can come off. Can it?

Yes, it can come off. The picture is also a link to my Flickr photostream wich has a pic of the roof removed, and a pic of the inside. Thanks!

Looks great to me! Lots of detail, and it's quite large as well for a guard house!

I only would have seen more architecture at the top, it looks like something has been cut of the top.

Furthermore it's just great! :sweet:

Haha I like your comment. To be honest, there was actually a roof over the whole structure, but after sleeping on it, and seeing it the next morning, I thought it didn't work, so I removed the roof and just let it be. The roof technique I used is something I'm obligating myself to use in one of my next MOC's. ;)
