Fisherman/Angler Mini Figure?

When I recently visited the Legoland Discovery Centre in Manchester, I saw a fisherman/angler mini figure, now I can't remember whether it was around the attraction itself (most probably the mini land) or whether it was in the shop.

Aside from the one that's in the upcoming mini figure series 3, have there been any before?

I am by no means an expert, but I don't believe so, I'm assuming you saw the one from series 3.

When I have questions like this, I start with what I know - there exists a LEGO fishing rod.

Then I go to bricklink, look up "fishing rod," (actually, I tried "pole" first, but when that yielded no results, I used "rod" and it worked) and go to the catalog entry for it.

I see it was in 15 sets. I click on the link to which sets they were in, and see several fishing related ones (although it looks like they were creatively used for other things, too).

I doubt they'd have had the series 3 fisherman on display though.

I've had a good search round and can't find anything. I'm pretty sure the rod I saw the mini figure holding was one of the new shape ones for the fisherman from series 3. The only way I'm going to be able to find out is make another trip back to the LDC ASAP!
