Are you sure? I am two ranks and several abilities above yours. But if you are, then we just need an adjudicator. :classic:

Don't worry about me, I need to practice dueling more experienced people. Anyone care to ADJ?

Captain Tamamono? Would you mind duelling me after please?

Sure! You put up a great fight last time, so I think a rematch is in order.

After a dismal start, Gryffindor Ollivander Dippet begins the second round by disarming Frankfurt. The Hufflepuff though, quickly recovers his wand and retaliates with his own Expelliarmus, knocking his opponent's weapon to the floor. With the Gryffindor defenseless, Frankfurt stuns Ollivander with a powerful Stupefy and slams him against the wall. The Hufflepuff continues his offensive onslaught with a high-arching spell, but the diminutive Magus counters with his Labrador Patronum. Both duelists then unleash similar body spells that cancel each other out, sending flickering sparks and a gust of smoke throughout the dueling room.

Frankfurt continues to pound his opponent and steadily increases his lead. Ollivander needs some serious comeback in the decisive round to turn things around in his favor. Send in your Round 3 DSs when ready.

Okay decides to go back to get more knowledge at Hogwarts and is not even back in the castle for five minutes when the young Ravenclaw Kingfisher challenges him to a duel. In desperate need for an excuse not to go through all the work of unpacking, Turkoglu accepts the challenge. They find an empty classroom and begin. Kestrel starts out by surprising Okay with a stunning spell. Recovering quickly, the Hufflepuff disarms the Ravenclaw and sends him sprawling across the room. He lands under a bookshelf and a particularly heavy book lands on his head. Kestrel remains undaunted and tries a high spell. Okay does the same but his speel overpowers Kestrel's and the Ravenclaw ends up on his rear again. Okay follows up with a stunning spell. Kingfisher gets to his feet again and launches a spell at Turkoglu's legs. It connects and the Hufflepuff falls over as his legs lock together.

Send for round 2 when ready.

No, I have to apologize for the hold-up. I misinterpreted the rules for changing your repertoire, so I'll just stick with reverting back to being a Magus and losing my sectumsempra spell. I'll get my pet when I become an Auror again.

Sent my Round 2 DS as well.

Having had enough, Okay disarms his opponent and tries to even the match up but Kingfisher deftly catches his wand and protects himself again with a shield charm.

With his opponent momentarily dizzied, the Practitioner continues to pound on Clen, targeting his head with a high-arching spell, but the student manages to defend with a timely Protego. The Gryffindor then goes on the offensive and casts a body shot, which gets countered by a similar spell by Kestrel. The Practitioner continues his aggression with another successful high-arching spell that hits the student in the end. With his opponent physically down and probably in confidence too, Kestrel tries to pound further with a low attack, but Clen manages to sneak in a head shot of his own that hits the Ravenclaw. Furious he got hit, Kestrel retaliates with a punishing Stupefy that slams the Gryffindor against the wall. Drawing from the last bit of his strength, Clen then miraculously knocks Kestrel to the ground with a low-sweeping spell.

With his back against the wall and hanging on for dear life, Gryffindor Clen Vierno desperately opens the decisive round with a lightning-quick body shot that catches Kestrel off-guard and hits him in the torso. The Ravenclaw attempts a retaliatory Stupefy that Clen adeptly blocks with a Protego. Seeing an opening in his opponent's defense, the Gryffindor was able to knock the practitioner off his feet, sending Kestrel stumbling to the ground. The student then jumps to the air and targets the Ravenclaw in the head, only to be countered with a similar high spell from Kestrel. Looking to 'stea'l this duel, Clen once again tries to hit his rival on the leg but the Ravenclaw manages to put up a shield charm just in time, surviving a humiliating meltdown and sending the duel into one final sudden death round.

What a miraculous comeback from the very resilient Clen Vierno! We're going into Sudden Death, and let's see who'll make that one important hit. Send in your SD DS.

Three rounds were not enough to determine the victor of this tightly-fought duel, as both duelists square off in a hit-and-win sudden death round. Ravenclaw Kestrel Kingfisher tries to use his spell advantage over his opponent right from the get-go, unleashing his powerful Stupefy in the hopes of ending the match right away and grabbing the victory, but Clen rightfully reads his move and adeptly blocks with a Protego. The Gryffindor then goes on the offensive, firing off a body shot that is deflected by the practitioners shield charm. Clen follows-up with a barage of spells, but neither finds it way through the Ravenclaw's impenetrable defense, with each attack blocked with consecutive Protegos from Kestrel. In a strange ending to this otherwise exciting duel, Kestrel became unusually defensive in the end, and both duelists have to settle for a draw.

Result: Draw

What an anti-climactic ending. I guess both of you have to settle this in another match. But for now, you may chalk this Draw up in your Duel History.

Great duel, ceroknight, sorry I had to end it like that... Thanks to KDM for adjudicating!

No problem Captain, I think I've seen someone pull out a similar strategy like that before. :look: (It's still a strategy no matter how unusual it is.)

If ever both of you would like to have a rematch, I'm still here to adjudicate.

 I was half thinking of doing that as well so no worries! Great match!

And thank you so much KiedDaMan for adjudicating!

I'd like a duel with anyone!

That would have been an exciting duel: Clen casts Protego! Kestrel casts Protego! Clen casts Protego! Kestrel casts Protego! Clen casts Protego! Kestrel casts Protego! and so on and so forth.

I'd actually like a rematch. I'm pretty sure that we're the closest in rank, so it makes sense for us to duel again.
