Thanks for ADJing Oky, loved the commentarys!

Thanks for ADJing, Oky.

You're welcome. After I saw CF's comment about Filch, I just had to end it this way.

I will let someone else adj the next duel though.

Bumping my previous request, are you round Cisco for a duel? :sweet:

Perhaps you should send him a PM rather than bumping the thread.

Unfortunately there don't seem to be a lot of players left in this game. :sceptic:

Im actually not going to go ahead with a duel Cisco, Im going away tomorrow night for a week and a bit then back and day or two (repacking) then will head off again, so no time for a duel now. Don't advance up the ranks to fast while im gone everyone!

The newest Gryffindor student, Clen Vierno challenges newly-minted adept Walter Kovacs to a duel in front of the whole school. The duelists take their position on the platform and bow to one another. Walter fires off shots left and right like a mad man and sparks of light fly from his wand to land all over the young Vierno. When the smoke clears, Clen is lying prone on the opposite side of the dueling platform with smoke coming out of his ears. Madam Pompfrey rushes to his side and a few of the teachers carry him off to the infirmary.

Wow, Walter, you seem to have shaken off some of that bad luck in a big way. You couldn't have planned things better. Sorry Ceroknight, I guess your beginners luck didn't transfer from Jedi Duel. Update your profiles accordingly.

After Waking up in a surly mood, Johann entered the Great Hall for breakfast, looking for the first opportunity to pick a fight. He saw his opportunity when Frankfurt Flashburn, a dueler he had yet to defeat, walked by the Slytherin table. Sticking a foot out, the Hufflepuff Magus tripped and fell face first into his scrambled eggs.

Hopping up, Frankfurt fired a hex at the Slytherin's legs, but Johann had the advantage, and he wasn't about to give it up. He fired off a disarming charm, then tried a Cruciatus curse, only to see all too familiar red sparks fly. Wiping egg from his face, Frankfurt fired a charm towards Johann's mid-section, causing another shower of red sparks. He was caught by surprise by a hex to the legs, so quickly he disarmed his foe and was delighted to see the wand hit Johann in the eye, causing a small scratch.

DS for Round 2, when you are ready.

And to ceroknight, I feel bad. I usually don't do that well.

Although you know what that means, two duel winning streak. Never thought I'd get to say that.

The two Magus (Magi? ) resume their duel in the mess hall. Sensing his opponent's frustration, Johann started with a shield charm, then quickly countered with a charm, only to get caught with a Stupefy hex. His next spell was deftly blocked, but on retrieving his wand caught Frankfurt with a Cruciatus Curse. Frankfurt's final attack was snuffed before it could be uttered, his wand skidding harmlessly across the floor.

Great duel so far. DS for Round 3, Please.

Oh, and I forgot to thank you for ADJing my last duel. Thanks CM.

Frankfurt was still enraged that Johann Peterschmut had tripped him, causing him to eat his eggs in an unconventional way. He started teh round with a flurry, first catching the Slytherin with a Stupefy hex, and then once again catching him mid shield with the Expelliarmus charm. He tried to press his attack with a hex to the chest, but the Slytherin had regained his footing, and disarmed the Hufflepuff.

Now it was Johann's turn for offense. His own hex caught Frankfurt napping, and while he tried to recover, Johann sent him writhing in extreme pain under tan unforgivable curse. Both combatants could sense that the end was near...

Exciting round! Send in your DS for everyone's favorite...Sudden Death. Choose wisely.

Both duelists prepared to face off, knowing that the slightest mistake meant their doom. Expecting the worst from their adversary, each young man attempted to disarm the other, the spells colliding in a shower of familiar red sparks. Undaunted, each tried his most powerful spell, again ending in a shower of sparks.

Coming down to the final few attacks of the duel, each Magus tried something unexpected. Johann tried a hex to the midsection, while Frankfurt tried to go high. The Slytherin was delighted when his attack actually connected, and Frankfurt Flashburn crumpled to the floor.

At that moment Prefessors Vector and Sprout rushed in. Professor Sprout helped Frankfurt to teh infirmary, while Professor Vector led the Slytherin to detention, by his ear.

Winner: Johann Peterschmut. Great duel, both of you. Update your profiles accordingly.
