Big Cam Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 One thing my wife told me back when we got married was I could have any type of ring I wanted, and the one I got cost 3 times as much as these. I am in no way trying to advertise for Gizmodo, it's just a blog I like to follow and I found these articles there. Please slap me across the face if this has been posted before. I've been gone a while. Here are the best of both articles, the first two pictures link to the first article, and the 3rd picture links to the different styles of rings. Quote
JCC1004 Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 (edited) Actually my wife and I both have one of these as an alternate ring to the normal (and more expensive) ring. They are quite nice. I have the 2X2 and she has the 1X2. The 1X1 would be better for an engagement ring to be honest but I didn't do that too. I did find out about them somewhere but not sure if it was EB. So can I slap you just in case? Also "Please tell me to shut it and please slap me across the face!" New title? Edited October 2, 2010 by JCC1004 Quote
Big Cam Posted October 2, 2010 Author Posted October 2, 2010 where do you buy these? here is the link but it is in german I believe. http://www.edition-m...01_nops4er.html Actually my wife and I both have one of these as an alternate ring to the normal (and more expensive) ring. Welll, if you can find a thread on it, I'll grant the slap, but for knowing about them, and even having one, you can tell me to shut it Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Very interesting! Thanks for sharing this Big Cam, just in time for my wedding plans next year. I might have to convince the fiance that I'll have the lego wedding ring version, different from her standard wedding ring. Quote

Also why does the smile use image tags instead of the code? Quote

No clue on the smilie using img tags, I just clicked it. I do not recall anything bad ever happening to me. Quote
JCC1004 Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 No clue on the smilie using img tags, I just clicked it. I do not recall anything bad ever happening to me. I see it happened again. It works like normal with me. Odd... Well no one has found a topic for this yet and I think if I can recall people did tell you to shut it. Not necessarily bad but still asking to get yelled at. prateek Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 This is great! I like that it actually works with Lego. Quote
dr_spock Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 I guess you get them for anniversary rings if you are already married. I would like to see a brick separator ring. Quote
Masked Builder Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Yep I've seen these but I still think they're cool! Quote
The_Customizer Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 That is really funny! I could totally see the 1x1 ring with a Crystal on it! That would be sweet! Well, now I know what ring I will have if I get married! Quote
Condor Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 It looks cool, but I don't think I could wear it. I like my plain wedding ring Quote
escortmad79 Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 I've just shown my fiancee & she told me to dream on! Quote
Mrlegoninja Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Hmmm... I'm pretty sure I saw these on brickset a few months ago. Quote
Big Cam Posted October 10, 2010 Author Posted October 10, 2010 I just need a fiancee now... It'll come I showed these to my wife and she laughed at me. Quote
Corvus Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 I showed these to my wife and she laughed at me. Ouch. These are some pretty neat rings. I need to remember them for the distant future. Quote
Captain Becker Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Ohh, i hope to get one for myslef too when i get married Very nice looking. Thanks for showing Captain Becker Quote
Izzy Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 I noticed these rings on some Etsy store some time ago, I think they are a nice idea but so very chunky. Looks terribly uncomfortable to wear. I can just imagine the terrible 'de-gloving' injuries this might cause if it got caught on something. Quote
The Soup Nazi Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 I would love to see someone build a modular building on that. Quote
